  1. So how do you use these Army FM numbers for ordering anything? Also, my problem with the Surefire flashlights is that they take stupid batteries. AA and AAA batteries can be found everywhere, and there are piles of $2 LED flashlights out there now. Sure, they aren't as bright as a Surefire but in a year or two you can still find batteries for them.
  2. That place also sells somewhat custom lower parts kits. They include different grips, including some Magpul stuff.
  3. Just add lower http://palmettostatearmory.com/2252.php
  4. I was thinking 10.5 or 10.25 or whatever it is. I was really kicking around the idea of a 7" but everyone on barfcom seems to think its too short to be worth messing with unless you just want to make a bunch of noise. Of course, in a SHTF scenario where the ATF no longer matters, the upper can find its way onto a rifle lower and suddenly I have an M4, so maybe a 14" isn't such a bad idea, although I would like for it to be moderately concealable for possibly trunk duty. I haven't weighed my AR, but its pretty low. I'd like to replace the standard handguard with a Magpul and stick a small rail on it for a flashlight, and I'm not planning on adding anything else. It will be my home defense gun too, if I ever get any ammo. Got too many priorities right now that aren't guns, sadly.
  5. Scott, what are Army FM #'s? Also, got any more info on that vest? Either way, I'm working towards a bug out bag and a loadout. I'm going with the lightest 16" AR possible. I need a few more things for it, but sticking with iron backup sites and eventually a decent red dot/holo optic. I just have a cheapy red dot right now. Handgun, fullsize 9mm. This way it's possible to scavenge ammo from anywhere, and weight isn't a big concern. I'm also wanting to build an AR pistol, so that MAY end up replacing both. Time will tell.
  6. and in 07 people were complaining about the 05+ crew. Once again, late to the party.
  7. You know, people have been claiming that CR has been going downhill since year two, which is long before any of you were on here. Kinda late to that bandwagon, it's been beat to death and then some.
  8. Well that's what happens when you know your competition is on the verge of faceraping you. If you can't outsell them, pay off the courts to kill them. I guess Apple is figuring out that they can only go so far with hawking overpriced MP3 players
  9. Sorry for the threadjack, but the awesome sticker producer that provided us with the Kenny memorial stickers is here: http://www.houseofgrafix.net/ Since they hooked us up with 100 free single run stickers, I'd like to push them some traffic.
  10. Does the title have a section on it for notary info? That will answer your question. I think only about 10 states require it. Like said above, take the car to the bmv (on temp tags of course, don't be dumb) and they will verify the vin matches the title. Then go to the title office and its just like normal from there on
  11. I hope when Ron Paul ousts Obama in 2012 he pulls us out of the UN completely. NATO is more than enough of an international group for us.
  12. lol, yes, I'm going to ride a bike 25 miles to work a 10 hour shift where I don't get to sit down, then ride 25 miles back home. wait, where did that go, oh here it is :dumb:

  14. Oh by the way, I made the results public in case someone decided it would be fun to edit the results. The votes aren't actually there, so this is poll is null and void. Although the majority that actually voted, voted yes
  15. I'm guessing you didn't actually read the post right above this one

    Questions

Most indoor ranges rent, yes. Aimhi in new Albany has a good selection
  17. I forgot to mention when I made the poll If Hal is a nuisance also gets 75 votes, he also gets a week ban And unless another mod beats me to it, I'll give evan his ban when I get to a real computer instead of my phone
  18. Thats great and all, when I come over a blind hill doing the speed limit then suddenly have 100 feet to stop before I go bowling :dumb: I understand people that only have a bike for transportation, those people generally live close to where they work. People riding rural roads where there are trees and hills and people cruising at high speed is a terrible place to put on your spandex and go slow while somehow taking up the entire road.
  19. Yup. To turn it back to normal you hook it up to your computer, go into itunes and use that to restore it. Its way easier to go in that direction than it is to jailbreak it in the first place.
  20. When I run out of room I buy a bigger hard drive Besides, they also no longer have the movie Kids available on DVD. Wtf. I'm sure that's not the only one that they no longer mail out
  21. The only thing that annoys me is they are losing content that's sitting in my queue. Why would they remove stuff?
  22. $350 Jailbroken. Not the current iOS, forget whats on it. I never updated it. Comes with an Otterbox Commuter and some other case thing that acts like a stand, along with original charger. Consider trades on higher end Android tablets, like an Asus Transformer.
