  2. no arguments there, but that is of course assuming you are far enough off that you CAN walk away. You have it because you never know. BTW, I posted that while in line for Shadowbox, at Easton, less than an hour after all this shit went down. Honestly, this stuff is incentive for me to make the decision to not drink so that I can carry instead. Any more, I don't like leaving the house without my Kel Tec in my pocket.
  3. The one day I'm at Easton without my ccw

  6. http://www.upi.com/Top_News/US/2011/02/06/NC-law-enforcement-pistols-no-good/UPI-29261297026775/ RALEIGH, N.C., Feb. 6 (UPI) -- North Carolina's Alcohol Law Enforcement agency says 150 new pistols bought for their agents at $1,055 each were so unreliable they got rid of them. Agency officials say the Kimber .45-caliber pistols repeatedly malfunctioned during training exercises, with rounds jamming, sights breaking and the weapons' safety buttons sometimes falling off, The (Raleigh) News & Observer reported Sunday. Agency Director John Ledford said a deal was arranged with a local firearms dealer to swap the pricey handguns for less expensive models. "Failure of a weapon during training is problematic enough, but if any of these types of failures occurred during a life-and-death situation the result could be loss of life to a sworn member of the division or an innocent civilian," Ledford wrote in a November memo announcing the change. "During violent encounters with armed suspects, reliability and speed are paramount." Since the Kimbers were issued to agents in the fall of 2009, Ledford wrote, agents reported 289 malfunctions during training exercises, and many agents had chosen to carry personal weapons instead of the Kimbers. Ledford said a deal was arranged to trade in the department's troublesome pistols to a Raleigh firearms dealer in exchange for 150 new Sig Sauer 220 handguns valued at $718 each. "We are hopeful these will be quality products, and we believe they are," Ledford said. "The Sig handgun is the same model carried by the Secret Service."
  7. I prefer Shell but I'm never around one. Next up is BP - which, I might add, got about 2 MPG better out of my WRX than Sunoco did. Sunoco tends to be more expensive than anything else and isn't worth the price difference in my eyes. Otherwise, I'll go for whatever tends to stay busy so they are less likely to have old gas or watered down gas.
  8. Well considering I have TWC 7mb, and TWC has done a lot to make me hate them, and considering if anything else was available for me other than crappy DSL then yeah, I say go for the ATT.
  9. Awesome. I never would have bothered looking in that thread to see though. I would suggest looking around on arfcom if you can't find it from a vendor. Also make a want to buy post on there, if nothing turns up on here.

  11. Sounds like a good catch at least. I suggest calling every phone number you can find to get them to remove your CC info from the account if you haven't already. If they won't, just cancel the Live account altogether and make a new one using only cards to fund it. MS really doesn't like you removing card info for some reason - my account has a number from a card that expired years ago only because it wouldn't let me delete it. Oh, then dispute the charges with your bank if MS hasn't fixed it. Fuck em.
  12. That's why they won't ever get my CC info, especially since I'm not on there very often, so the only way I'd notice something shady is through my online banking. There are deals to be had on 12 month gold cards, usually can be had for $40 which is the same as 4 months if you go monthly. MS points are a ripoff, but you can buy those with cards too.
  13. I've got $6k in cc debt and $900 in student loans. I'm in the positive by a couple grand on the jeep so I'm thinking of selling it, so what I make off that along with my tax return should knock out most of my credit card. Then a couple months of big payments should finish that debt off, at which point I can jump into another, cheaper, car loan. If I keep going at my current rate It will be YEARS before anything actually gets paid off.
  14. I'm plenty happy just with Netflix (I rip every dvd I get in the mail, their streaming is still pretty crappy) and Hulu for new stuff.
  15. credentials aren't enough to penetrate a steel skull
  16. It must just be you because I don't hear anyone else pitching a bitch about Sprint, especially all the extremely happy Evo owners, such as my myself. I can't imagine what it would take to get me to switch to any other phone or any other carrier.
  17. sounds like you need to do more research tardo

  20. Tom, I think I may have to stop by this week! Been meaning to talk to you anyway. I can get some pics while I'm there, we all know how worthless your sons are at helping you with anything
  21. I've used 4,043,798KB this month on my sprint plan. Lets see if anything changes past the 5gb point.
