    Stands

Sometimes I think back to the comment about helmets 5 dollar lid for a 5 dollar head. Same goes for stands. I just don't want to go out to the garage and see my bike on its side. Plus with stands like Pit-Bull I'm very confident that if someone bumps my bike on the stand it won't slide off.
  7. I have State Farm but had to call multiple agents to get a great deal. I pay <400 a year for a 1000RR street R6 race and theft on a CRF450
  8. anything with two wheels
  9. I just need to get my 50 posts
  10. Reading you post I need to wonder did you do the oil change? If not did they who ever changed it fill it correctly. Also the stock shifter requires you to remove the shifter to get at the oil filter. So who ever replaced the filter didn't tighten the shifter and should be the one to cover the costs. Also a little blue lock tite goes a long way... As far as the leak I would take the lowers off and see whats wet. you motor shouldn't look slimmy. Take some WD 40 clean the bottom and finish off with simple green. My bet would be the drain plug is F'd up or the filter isn't tight. If its truly bad have Rueben do a superstock rebuild you will have a very quick little R6
  11. I printed this manual out. Its over 500 pages
  12. Check you fluids. Are they all up to level? Is the oil have any milky white stuff in it? does the smoke smell like anti freeze? Did you put something in the tank before you stored it (stabile)? too much oil? Does the bike run a power commander? Make sure you didn't have some type of animal set up shop in the pipe over the winter. Finally do a leak down on the cylinders make sure they all have compression and check your plugs. my guess is the bike might be too rich and its unburnt fuel. Otherwise you might be burning a little oil on load. Keep on eye on your oil level.
  13. Any in the Cleveland prefer South West side? Need an exhaust tab rewelded.
  14. Make sure you check pressures. Sometimes the bike will roll real nice because the person that changed the tires inflated them to pop the bead on and that was it.
  15. as far as your question I have my own tire changer. I bought for my hobby figured I would help others.

  16. You may only post 1 messages every 720 minutes

what the hell is that 12 hours?

  17. I would say Honda East is the best for price and worth the ride. The last few bikes purchased I used the cycle trader web site to get the best price. I was able to save a few bucks compared to what I was getting from calling Honda East directly. Not sure why but I talked to Scott Johnson from internet sales and was able to get a great deal on my the last three bikes. Other Dealer say they can match Honda East's price only to add document fees, Handling/assembly fees etc etc. So be careful I was only charged 75 dollars for Doc fees. As far as service, if you bought a Yamaha than any Yamaha dealer will work with warranty issues. The dealer doesn't care where you bought the bike the dealer gets paid by Yamaha for the service. As far as Service I haven't needed it much since I do most of my own work. But Breyley Yamaha is a great service dealer. They aren't big or flashy but do good work. Bottom line best way to save money is to check out the cycle trader web site and let your fingers do the walking. A little time behind the desk can save you a lot of money and grief.
