  3. I hope you don't have the top clamp tight that could be your issue for sure. I still have the 1 5/8 if you want to try it
  4. I couldn't get rid of the smell of puke from my car. I traded it in...that worked
  5. you can always use a little tape to take up the slop with a socket if its a little loose
  6. I have a 1 5/8 it fits my r6 fork top with a little wiggle
  7. You might want to try 1 5/8 or 1 9/16 socket if you can't find a 40 mm socket
  8. I use duct tape and velcro
  9. I'll be in the A group with my video camera. Got some good stuff Tuesday even the guy who crashed in turn one. I thought I was close enough for some good shots only to find that the crash was just out of range and appears very small on the video.
  10. I will guess the chain is too slack and its slapping the swing arm close to the pivot.
  11. Just signed up don't need the garage but would like to see how many OR people will be there
  12. Until you get really fast its not too bad. Yes its a little bumpy in spots but that just makes fun:D
  13. yeah I heard of this guy from Strongsville. Let me know when you need it done.
  14. dustinsn3485 Thats what I'm talking about Justin they usually do go back to idle but after a while of hanging at 4k
  15. This is because as the pilot goes bad people will adjust up the idle to get the bike to idle. What you have done is set the idle on the needle. Thats why the bike will idle but as you rev the bike the engine doesn't want to return to idle. If I was a betting man I would put my money on the jet. If the bike is that old seafoam probably will not work. Its a good product but if you could see some of the crude I have pulled out of neglected bikes carbs you would understand.
  16. Best stuff I have ever used is the Yamaha carb cleaner. Just make sure that what ever you use don't hit the rubber parts. Its better to avoid hitting them rather than finding out that what ever chemical cleaner your using just swelled the rubber parts to 5 times normal size Just pull the carbs take them apart clean and put back. Easy check this link out http://users.rcn.com/kochc/moto/carb/carb.html
  17. Sounds like the Pilot jets are bad and the bike is idling off the needle jet. Best thing to do is either get some Yamaha carb cleaner and soak them over night in this stuff or buy new ones and be done with it. If the bike starts idles and when you rev the throttle hangs at about4k rpm I would guess its the pilot jets are fouled. Did this bike sit around for a while?
  18. you need to shop around. State Farm has been cheap for me but it took 3 State Farm Agents to get a quote below 300 a year for full coverage with a 500D.
  19. Tonik good meeting you don't forget to check tire psi before you ride.
