well.... i'm really interested in scott's katana, b/c most other bikes I'm looking at are either too shady, need too much work, or are just plain out of my price range.

So i'm still trying to look around, but, scott's ride so far woudl be my best option.

Maybe if I find a cheap sv650 in really good condition I might go with that. I'm still lookin around and I do have time. So I'm just trying to figure out exactly what I'm looking for and within what budget, keeping in mind gear and insurance, plus unexpected maintainence and repair costs.
