I need some tips regarding riding and children
SirPsycho replied to Sara_Rides's topic in Daily Ride
My son took his first ride at a very early age. I would place him on the tank and putt up and down the alley. When he got older at about 4 we would take rides around the neighbor. He was to small to ride on back so I had him sit in front of me with his hands on the tank, After a while I would let him steer and hold the gas. I lived on a small Naval base and he was driving to pre school. When he got to big to sit up front I got him his own bike and he moved to the back seat. I did the same with my Daughter. This is how my Dad rode me around. I agree with RVT Pilot. Get your confidence up. I never had any problems with police while I had my kids riding up front with me but it is illegal I believe. Definately stay on back rodes away from traffic until you both get comfortable. Call a sitter or set up some play dates for your boy so you can ride more often. Before you know it you will be riding side be side with your son when he gets his temps. Like I was yesterday -
I did a concrete job Mon. I rode my bicyclefor an hour and rode my Tuono to work Tues. Kind of feels like spring except for the 8 inches of snow outside. It was not supposed to snow tues night but it did on my way home. there was a light busting on the side streets. Felt really good to ride. Just thought I would brag a bit. I rode my bike. Nick

Yeah I could not believe it and the best thing was everything was in my size. I went out yesterday before work to check them out. I find out you can not XC ski at the airport golf course.,so i go to gahanna GC. What a kick in the nuts. I think I did alright my heart rate was definately way up. Still working on the technque. I fell once and could not get up it was pretty funny. I can't wait to go again. Down hill is a blast. I like XC because you can go almost anywhere and it is free. I am mostly doing this to get in shape.

I used to have some cheap skis when i was a kid. I looked at the usual places like ebay and craigslist. Getting back in shape and thought I would take advantage of the out doors the gym gets old. Let me know if you have anything laying around. Nick

I sat on the RSV4 at MO. The Aprilia guy started the bike up. The bike sounded so lame and quietall the way up the rev range. He then put the bike in gear and wham it turned into a beast and growled. It has three different maps you can selected for Track , sport or wet. Bike felt really light too. This thing is a head turner also. After we got done drooling all over the bike the Aprillia guy went a grabbed up some Aprilia swag for us (hats). Would be a nice bike to own for sure but you would be doing a great injustice to the RSV4 if you did not track it. at the price they want it would be a pretty expensive track ride.

my new 1994 rebuilt cr500 warm up after third kick
SirPsycho replied to crf69's topic in Play in the Dirt
I seen a 89 CR 500 on Craigslist for $800. I would love to get it. I think it would make a good woods bike at Wayne. I currently ride a XR 350 at Wayne. Nice CR hopefully we can get out and throw some dirt around come spring. -
He looks like a D.. D... D. Good price tho

I rode saturday the 19th. It is funny how just a quick ride on my bike can lift my spirits. I was already in a good mood. Riding in a snow shower and waving at the cages as they go by. good stuff.

i like to ride Wayne National forest in nelsonville. You can camp for free. The week days are great because you have the hole place to yourself it seams. Lots of trails there also. The price for a weekend pass went up last year. a daily pass is $ 7 daily to $12 something like that. You can get a year long pass If you plan on going more than three times it is worth it. I get excited to ride the dirt and it sticks in my head for several days after I leave the trails just like the trackdays do. I walk around before and after a dirt or track day with a stupid grin making motorcycle noises out loud. Both are great fun I think a couple dirt days may take the edge off of not doing as many trackdays, I would stick with the trackdays and find a cheap dirt bike.

So I have been thinking about a wheelie machine.
SirPsycho replied to DTM Brian's topic in Daily Ride
I think Micah had a R6 on the wheelie machine at IP. They charged $10 bucks. I think you would be able to roll a number of different bikes up and rock. i like the idea of keeping the bike like what most people would ride. -
