Ohio Riders Christmas Party - Saturday Dec 27th

It's looking good for me to make this. I haven't read the entire thread so I don't know what if anything I should bring, besides the "White Elephant" gift. -
What about the first ride of the year on 01/01/09? You gotta get out on the first day of the year!

OK, here's a review: Back in June, before I took my MC trip from Canada to Mexico, I bought a new tire from Ohio Motorcycle. Thinking that I should be able to get a tire installed without an appointment, I walked into the service area and they told me that I needed an appointment and that they were six weeks out on service. Not even an option since this was the weekend before I was leaving on the trip. I was not sure that Cycle Search did service work, but working in Delaware, I'd seen guys working in the shop. I called them up and sure enough they said I could bring it in Monday. I show up first thing Monday morning. The guy in the shop, don't remember his name, takes it in and I walk off to get some coffee and talk with Mitch for a while. When all is said and done, the tech. also told me that my rear brakes needed replaced and he also adjusted the idle which he said was a little off. He also mentioned one other thing that I know I took care, but don't recall what it was. I appreciated the attention to the other things that needed to be taken care of and walked off with a good feeling about the bike and the long trip I was about to take. I wouldn't hesitate to bring back my bike back to Cycle Search should I need any other work or maintenance done, that I don't already take care of myself. Kudos to Cycle Search and thanks!

Sneaky little Mother******, isn't she?

Good thing they had the canine sniff around. They may not have found him and think about what might have happened to the homeowner after the police cleared the scene.

SWEET! I was trying to post the video from the charity ride back in September, of course that was futile. I love working with video!

Anybody else usin' the "Christmas Spirit" background?

What's wrong with GREEN?!? -
Check the bottom of the citation for the court of record. Contact the prosecutor's office and request driver education course in lieu of paying the citation and points. Good luck.

U.S. motorcycle designer Gregory Dunham from Stockton, California, stands atop the biggest drivable motorcycle during a media preview for the upcoming Motor Show fair in Essen, western Germany, on Monday Nov. 24, 2008. The fair will open its doors from Nov. 29 to Dec. 7, 2009. The behemoth is a real, working motorcycle, named "Dream Big". "Dream Big" stands 3.4 meters tall, measures 6.2 meters in length, weighs 2948.3 kilograms and relies on an 8 226.3 cubic centimeter engine to power it to speeds up to 104 kilometers per hour. The massive engine is able to output 500 horse power, while the transmission features a gearbox with two forward speeds and reverse.

Congrats! Very nice ride.

A great show that NBC was STUPID to not keep. Good for ABC! I'll be watching.

Many of the modern comedians are great. Still, nothing beats "Who's on first?" It still cracks me up.

It was 17° when I left this morning. Leather jacket w/liner, flannel lined jeans, leather chaps, wool blend socks, hoody sweatshirt, LS tee, balaclava, 180's leather exhale gloves. I was comfortable all over except for my finger tips. I have a set of Tourmaster Synergy Gloves on my Christmas wish list and I sure hope I get a pair.

I'll be out tomorrow at AD Farrows Endurance Ride for about 250 miles. Should be fairly nice, supposed to be mid 40's and sunny.

Another KFC to avoid is the one on Polaris Pkwy. I called their corporate office when I found little bits of every side was found in every container of the sides I bought. Cross contamination is a big NO NO with the health department. If that's what they let the customers see I don't want to know what they're hiding. The only KFC close to me that seems to be clean and gives decent service is the one S. State St. in Westerville. Popeye's has the best fried chicken anyway.

I agree that two men killed by an eight year old boy seems to indicate the possibility of some kind of abuse against the boy. Still, the calculated and seemingly premeditated act of murdering the father is an unfathomable act for an eight year old. I have some doubt that the killing of the roommate was planned. No matter what the judicial outcome may be, the truth behind what motivated this child will only be known to him. Child psychologists will give as many rational explanations as we can possibly process, but in the end two men are dead and this eight year is responsible. At what cost to society is the potential rehabilitation of this child worth? Is it worth another lost life? Of an adult that cares for him and upsets him? Of a another child that plays with him and makes him sad or mad? There are no real good answers, just more to think about. Listen to the audio of his interview here . . . http://www.azfamily.com/video/3tvextra-index.html?nvid=305445&shu=1

I installed Sirius radio on my bike this past summer. It kept me company while on my trip from Canada to Mexico. It was great having constant music to keep me company and not having to fish around regular radio channels to find something to listen to.

Check it out here . . . http://www.mmahacks.com/ Brock is an absolute monster but Couture was doing well against this behemoth. The punch that put down Couture didn't even look like Brock put much behind it. Check out the Florian vs. Stevenson fight. That's a good one.

I've had Sirius for about two years. The changes haven't affected my listening habits. Sirius Rocks!

Very nice! Congrats!

My fifteen year old daughter has been there for a few concerts and it depends on how the show is advertised as to the age. If the show is advertised as an all ages show then you're good to go. Aaaand, it looks like you're good to go. The website lists it as an all ages show and general admission. http://www.promowestlive.com/ Have a good time!
