Here's a few pics of places I've been . . . One of the many Long & Lonely Texas roads A pond at a Louisiana rest stop. The sign reads "No Swimming". Graceland, Memphis, TN Beale St. Bike Night, Memphis, TN Beale St. Bike Night, Memphis, TN
Glad to hear they are now a sponsor! I have had nothing but good vibes from the folks there. I ride a Honda VTX and have never been given grief when I ride in. They were our main sponsor when I did the ride from Canada to Mexico to raise money for Flying Horse Farms, of which they are a major supporter. Kudos to both organizations!
I have been with State Farm for close to 12 years. 3 cars, 2 motorcycles, home and life. I'll wait until I get the bill and then do some comparative shopping before I decide to say goodbye. That company and my agent have been great to deal with, so I'll still give them a fair chance to be competitive.
Right now I'm enjoying a Samuel Adams Boston Ale. This afternoon with lunch I had a White Ale. I have two cases of the Samuel Adams variety pack to go through, since I won it on a bet with a Blue Jackets fan.
Actually, it was the Justice who messed up the words and confused President Obama. I enjoyed his speech. I especially enjoyed his reference to what General George Washington said to his troops, toward the end of his speech.
The school official was well within his right to request to conduct a search of her backpack, locker, or even ask her to turn her pockets inside out. Beyond that, a parent should have been contacted prior to any thought of conducting a pat down of her person and especially before even entertaining the idea of a strip search, regardless of whether it is done by another female.
I found out about OR when Ben sent an e-mail inquiring about the Helping Hands Charity Ride. I wasn't familiar with OR at the time, but about a week or two later, on one of my Blue Knights rides, I found out that the wife of one of our members was an OR member (sonavabeech). I then joined the forum to see what you guys were all about and here I am.
Now that we know who the top 2008 Post Whore is, let's see who's put the most miles on two wheels. Every year I write down my start and ending odometer reading to calculate my annual mileage. I rode 12,026 miles in 2008. What's yours?
