  1. I know it sounds like an obvious question or thing to try, but, check the battery with a meter and make sure that the polarity is actually correct. I've seen a battery charged BACKWARDS so that the polarity actually read the opposite of what was marked!
  2. Thanks guys. Thats what I thought, just tryin to confirm.
  3. And keepin gas in that scooter I'm still waiting for a picture of you on that thing!
  4. Ok so we noticed something strange (at least I think so) with the wife's new Suzuki TU250, her front turn signals do not come on with the bike as running lights, they only light up one at a time when you put the turn signal on. Does anyone know for sure if it is a requirement that they be on all the time just like the "headlight" requirement for all bikes after whatever year that was. Someone (*cough*Lance*) seems to think so but I'm pretty sure the requirement is only for headlights and that this is just the design of this bike. She would like them on all the time but I think (and Strictly Streets seems to also) that this may be more trouble than its worth.
  5. Not. You know you went home from my house after digging up all that dirt and slept! Don't blame ya
  6. About a month to late. I had the back window of our car tinted at Ziebart. Maybe when I'm ready to get the rest of the windows done.
  7. Here's your prize... We'll probably be @ Hooters tonight, usual time.

  9. So my mom got the news today from her doctor on the series of test she had done last week. One major positive.... the cancer is nowhere else in her body, it is only in the mass they found in her shoulder. The bad news, for the moment they can not/will not surgically remove the tumor because it is to close to her caratoid (sp?) artery in her neck. So for the moment they plan on chemo and radiation treatments to try and shrink the tumor to the point they feel they can go in an safely remove it. More bad news, one of the chemo drugs (apparently its three different ones) they are gonna be using can cause heart problems. So mom is freakin out and focused on all the negative stuff instead of being relieved that the cancer is nowhere else. She doesn't want to go thru the chemo and wants the tumor removed, like now, but thats not happening. So thats the update. I'm abit relieved but still worried for her
  10. Its all the people that work @ Honda in Marysville! They FLY down 33 like they fricken own that stretch of highway. That old lady probably lives out that way and is tired of getting run off the road by the white jumpsuits on their way to/from work! It happens to me all the time. I drive a company work van with "big brother gps" installed, so I DON'T speed, and I constantly get people stacked up behind me on 33 as I take my time in the left lane as I pass trucks in the right lane, it may take me a few minutes/miles before I get back over in the right lane, by that time I got a dozen or more pissed off Honda employees behind me. I just laugh and wave. Leave for work earlier people, then you wouldn't have to do 75+ getting there.
  11. No doubt they fell on their ass quite a few times before getting that good! BTW, I can actually ride a bike (bicycle) backwards sitting on the handlebars. And I fell on my ass a few times learning that trick!
  12. When dealing with time travel movies, its best not to try and think things out, it'll make your head hurt. Did anyone see the Futurama episode where Fry becomes his own Grandfather, yeah, thats what I mean.
  13. Question is who DIDN'T like this movie. All three were great, I have the trilogy dvd set and still watch them any time I happen to stumble across them on tv.

I think these guys carry mopeds besides scooters, didn't see any listed on the website but you can try contacting them... http://zootscoots.com/index.html
  15. Not legal here, and people WILL try and turn into you cause they are not happy with what you're doing. Don't do it. Turn off the engine and wait like everyone else.
  16. Good, that road needed repairs badly!
  17. I run my high beam all the time during the day, but I think the advantage of a modulator is that it is "different" and commands attention.
  18. Are you guys all just bored or what?
  19. Yep. I think if (when) I ever get a new tech jacket I may get the dayglo yellow. Mine matches my bike now (blue/white) but I guess yellow would look okay on blue. I dunno, gotta see what it looks like on me
  20. Any color is better than black. So many people wear black! I like flourescents and I wear a bright yellow windbreaker over my tech jacket when I'm gonna be on the highway for awhile. My wife followed me in the car to and from Cleveland once and I had the windbreaker on most of the way and she said it made a huge difference in seeing me. Another easy thing is a "white" helmet. White helmets stand out much better than any other color, except maybe the new flourescent ones (yes they have dayglo helmets now). I've also been considering a headlight and tailight modulator. PS. The windbreaker is from "Performance Bicycle", its yellow flouresent and has reflective striping in it too. Its designed to be worn when bicycle riding. I find it works great to cut the wind off me on cool days.
  21. I have two standard card tables, square, I'm guessing they are 4x4 and one narrow that is probably 4x2. I think you could get all of them in your suv with the seats down, maybe jacked at an angle or somethin. We live about 2mi. from the Hooters in Hilliard, off Roberts & Walcutt. I'll PM you my cell if you want to set something up.
  22. If no one from the East side helps ya out I have two square ones and one narrow one you can borrow but we're on the West side so we'd have to figure somethin out. Let me know.
