  1. Not real sure. Hue Jass was gonna lead. Thinking stricly local ride, Columbus, Westerville, Delaware kinda thing.
  2. Noon at Pony works for me.
  3. Sounds okay. What time guys? I can do pretty much anytime. I just let the dog out and it was sprinklin out so maybe give it a couple hours? Name a meeting place, not sure where you route plan starts so post up some place to meet and a suggested time, I'm in.
  4. No thanks. I'm looking for a fun ride but nothing to outrageous, them Coshocton boys and their "really fun roads" are a little to fast for my taste.
  5. So is anyone around Columbus riding tomorrow? (Sunday 7/5) Haven't seen anyone mention anything. I'm looking to get out for a couple hours somewhere tomorrow. Forecast looks good after noon. Here's the thing though, I'm on "backup on-call" which means there is the slim chance I could have to drop out in the middle of the ride and head back to C-bus if the "primary" on-call guy gets slammed (which I don't anticipate). So if anyone is looking to ride, post up some details or ideas!
  6. Nice! Since my wife doesn't plan on riding any passengers either we are probably gonna take her back seat off as well. If we can get some kind of bag mount for hers to that would be great!
  7. +1 Thats exactly what they taught in the MSF BRC, leaving it in gear gives you a quicker out! Glad you're okay Tom, way to be alert!

    Movie Theater

Rave on Polaris. We were there this afternoon to see Transformers.
  9. You don't drive 270 enough then. From Rt 3 to Main St on the NE side and from 33 to Sawmill Rd on the NW side are some of the most heavily patrolled areas of 270.
  10. I think BK's ads are pretty stupid most of the time and sometimes borderline "creepy" but I think they do that because they just can't compete with McDonalds, so they figure lets give people something to talk about, whether or not they buy our shit
  11. You better ride your bike next week! No more of this caging it shit

This looks almost identical to my wife's new '09 bike! Retro is cool.
  13. I have American Family Insurance. This is the coverage statement from my old bike, it was new and financed so it had full coverage...
  14. IMHO, more trouble then its worth. Have it turned off and buy a new one. And don't leave the new one laying around!
  15. That sucks. But you gotta pay the bills! You'll miss the first public appearance of my wife's new bike.
  16. Who's going this Friday? I know it probably won't be very crowded with Red White and Boom going on but we will be there.
  17. Yeah its a retro design, looks like a 70's style bike. The guys at the shop said it looks really cool and different if you take the rear seat off, I guess it has like a luggage rack under that seat. Haven't tried it yet, doesn't come right off, gots bolts and stuff. This bike is brand new for '09 and is expected to be a big seller.
  18. I honestly don't know what to ask for it. Over the next couple days I plan on taking some new pictures of it and putting together a little sales ad that i can place on craigs list. Its a 2007 Diamo Torino150 (Chinese), paid $2000 for it new August of 2008. It was laid down on its left side once in a lowspeed slipup in gravel, nothing but cosmetic damage, didn't even require any repairs. I don't know the mileage, gotta check, runs okay, top speed with me riding it was around 65 (indicated).
  19. Yep! Its in the garage! We just got back from a short ride, she's doing great on it already. I rode it back from the dealership for her, its definetly different riding a 250, kinda feels like a scooter with gears but its a sweet looking little bike, I think its absolutely perfert for her to learn on and maybe in a couple years if she wants to upgrade we can but seriously, I think she'll be happy with this for quite awhile. We'll post a few initial pics in a little bit here this evening and we will definetly be out at Hooters on Friday night with it!
  20. I just think its funny that I drive 2+ hrs away just to bump into someone I know from back here, funny
  21. Wife and I were in Lorain over the weekend visiting family. I actually bumped into ShittyGxsr and GxsrNurse (sp?) at the International Festival, small world huh.
  22. We considered dualsports at first since thats what she rode during the BRC. I appreaciate all the input from everyone, we're probably gonna stick with the Suzuki TU, she really likes it, I'm gonna stop and check it out probably tomorrow night on the way home from work, she's already sat on it at HNW. I understand everyones concern about a 250 not having much gitty up and go but I know my wife and the speeds at which she's comfortable, afterall, she's never even had her 150cc scooter wide open! If she gets this 250 the only time it will most likely ever see over 65mph is when I ride it!
