The wife and I were up there for a quick bite to eat, we hung out for a little while but no one we knew showed up until we were about to leave then VrodDave showed up. Oh well. I got my biker card punched and my fix of Buffalo Shrimp (yeah thats the shit) so I'm good!
Here is one guy that does NOT know how to do it. Not sure who taught this guy how to corner, he's counter-leaning way off the bike unnecessarily which actually prevents him from getting the proper lean on the bike... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=leBMUKAp5Yc
Hey guys, anyone that hits 555 either Friday or Saturday be sure to post up here with a report on the road condition and/or PM me cause I'm plannin a ride on Sunday with a couple guys I work with and 555 is one of the roads I'm considering throwing in the mix!
Hey I just bought one of the starter kits for these electronic smokes, figured if I'm gonna try and sell 'em I probably outta have one people can try! I ordered 100 little rubber tips for them so anyone that wants to take a drag off of one of these things can try it with one of the little cig condoms I'll bring the sample with me whenever I come to any bike nights or OR get togethers. I got the kit today, so I'll have it with me tomorrow night if I make it out to Hooters in Hilliard.
Hilliard Hooters bike night IS Fridays. The wife and I will probably be up @ Hooters in Hilliard tomorrow night for abit, I'm on call so could have to split at any time, but its really close to home so shouldn't be an issue.
That was awesome tonight, had no idea that many were gonna show up at Shell, to bad the group got split up by the light rolling in off Polaris. Definetly a great turnout by OR! And the weather, fricken perfect!
I had my SilverWing for two seasons, it had 6894 miles on it when I traded it in on 3/23/09, I've just turned 1000 miles on my new bike last night so that 1k was put on since 3/23/09.
Find a somewhat curvy road nearby and ride that road ALOT, as most people said, it will come with time and practice. As you get more comfortable and confident you'll find yourself taking the corners faster and faster. Give it time, it will come.
I tell ya, I've had bugs smack my helmet shield so hard they felt like rocks, I'm guessin it wouldn't take much to cause and accident from a big bug smackin ya in the eye, just another good reason to wear a helmet, besides the obvious one of course.
