  1. While all of this is true. You have to remember that a headlight modulator is not a single "flash flash" signal like you'd give another driver in any of the above mentioned scenarios, it is a steady non-stop pattern of "low to high to low to high" beam. I think even the most stupid cager would have a problem thinking this meant "come on out or go ahead" but I could definitely see this being mistaken for an emergency vehicle in a rear-view mirror. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6y7XIXvDL2s
  2. I'm scheduled to go see a Neurologist in May, maybe he'll have some helpful tips on proper usage
  3. This is kinda why I've been undecided on the idea.
  4. Turns out I actually DO have a brain, go figure.
  5. They only operate when you switch your HIGH beam on during the day. They have a light sensor that stops it from working at night. I'm playing around with the idea.
  6. I'm aware of this trick yet tend to forget it. Need to start using it more. I think this year I may get a headlight modulator too, been putting it off but think it might be a good investment this season. Anything that helps a cager notice me is a good investment in my book!
  7. Yeah they just updated the story. No mention of helmet or not. I hate city traffic , people just aren't paying attention.
  8. Just got a text alert about this http://www2.nbc4i.com/news/2011/apr/14/motorcyclist-dead-after-crash-ar-454244/
  9. Got the mower running. Some fresh gas, shot of starting fluid in the carb, air filter full of starting fluid, that did the trick.
  10. I learned that in the Ohio MSF course, not in those exact words, but the idea of changing up your pattern randomly and occasionally to prevent the "dragonfly" effect on peoples vision when they see you coming.
  11. Nice hanging out with you again, and nice getting in at least a short ride! The video I shot on the way home is alright, I never ran the camera a night, its hard to tell where you are at cause I can't make out the road signs. Anyway, made it home ok. Later.
  12. I wear these, Vega Matrix. http://www.ironpony.com/ironponydirect/product.asp/ImageName/NITROMATRIXBOOT.JPG/Brand/VEGA/Class2/Footwear/Class3/Street%20Boots-Mens/Class1/STREET%20PRODUCTS
  13. I'll be there tonight. Riding. Not sure if anyone is meeting @ CC first, I'll swing thru there when I get up that way.

    48÷2(9+3)=?

When you punch the equation into a Google search is says 288 I like this answer I found on another forum...
  15. Where were all the prayers when I was running the lottery pool last month! Thanks
  16. Got home from work to late last night to screw with it.
  17. Sure, why not, it"ll be just like old times again.
  18. Yeah, it has a primer bulb, thats it. You know I know all the tricks you guys mentioned too I just didn't have the patience to screw with it today My lazy ass has been laid up in the house since Wednesday per doctors orders, today was the first time I ventured outside and when the lawnmower didn't cooperate, I just went back inside
  19. It doesn't have a choke, just has the engage lever that you have to hold down to use the mower, if you let go of it the engine stops, it has that and a primer button, thats it, no throttle control or anything. I'll mess with it some more tomorrow or something, simply wasn't expecting it to not start today and didn't feel like messing with it.
  20. All I did was replace the plug. I didn't have the chance to go get some new gas yet, will probably go get some tomorrow and fiddle with the air filter then. Went out with the hopes of cutting the grass and wasn't prepared for a non functional mower Just kinda looking to see if anyone local is available for repairs if it comes down to it.
  21. Tried to start my lawnmower today for the first time this season. It wouldn't start. Took the plug out, it looked like shit so I picked up a new one and stuck it in, still nothing. It sat all winter with a little bit of gas in the tank, I added some to it (the last that I had in my can) hoping it would be enough to do the yard but couldn't get it to start. I know it could use a oil change but for the moment just need to see if I can get it running. This mower was given to me a couple years ago by a neighbor that moved out, I've never done any maintenance to it other than having the blade sharpened last season. I can take it to the mower place here in Hilliard but I'm sure they are booked up with other people like me that waited until the last minute to try and start their mower
