  1. I was at CSCC today, saw flyers around campus stating that the guy was arrested.
  2. The Versa and the Accent Blue were the two we were looking at because they were in the same price range of just under $10K, however none of the dealers had any of the Hyundai Blue's in stock, only the GS and GLS models. The GS model we got came with a $1500 option "package" and included lots of things that we would have not gotten if we got the Blue. The GS was about $4K more but with the $2K incentive from Hyundai and the tradein we were able to get the better car with the option package for just over $10K. Payments ended up being about $5 more a month than the budget we had planned on, so all worked out. BTW, the features I'm referring to whey I say "loaded" is in comparison to the Blue (which had nothing) include things like.... - AC - stereo (yep, blue didn't come with one) - power locks/windows - abs brakes - keyless entry w/alarm
  3. Yeah it was a automatic. It had the sport shifting option as an automatic, I almost always drove it in the "stick" mode. Other then the engine being obviously smaller than our previous car I've had no complaints so far with it. Its got lots of features and perks that our Mazda didn't have like.... - alarm system - better stereo - more air bags - tire pressure monitoring system Probably more stuff I just don't know about yet, haven't read tru the manual. Things I do miss that the mazda had..... cruise control, better handling.
  4. I'm tellin you have them check all your outside connections too! The splitter on the side of the house where it splits off the main cable line to your modem (assuming you have cable tv too) and also the connections at the hub where you house branches off from the main run. That was my problem a few years ago.
  5. I myself like and use 5hr Energy, however, while at Big Lots in Hilliard this weekend I found several types of energy shots and and drinks in their food section! Found this for $1.00 a bottle, looked up the ingredients of 5hr Energy and compared it to this, almost identical! Close enough for me considering the savings! They even had something that said "For Women" on it that was TWO bottles for $1.00 ! I didn't really see anything in the ingredients that would technically make it just for women, but hey why chance it
  6. Cause the car was in the backyard
  7. Have you ever had your modem replaced or the connections checked outside? I had problem with connections and it made a world of difference! When I say connections I mean the splices on the outside coming in and at the nearest hub where your feed branches off from the rest.
  8. I've had TWC RR for the past 7 years, had some issues early on, ended up being shitty connections out on the hub in the yard, after they fixed that, no problems. My average speeds (download) are in the 9-15meg range, not the fastest but not slow either.
  9. Yeah, I'm like'n the one in the middle too
  10. So far I like the new car. I'm diggin the 5speed even if it ain't the fastest car on the road. Can definitely feel the difference in the smaller engine, I think the Mazda was a 2.0L, the Hyundai is only a 1.6L, on the highway it feels like there should be a 6th gear, poor little engine
  11. Seriously? They actually let that on the air?
  12. Hey, do you or your hubby ride bicycles? We've got the two bike racks that fit on the luggage rack to sell now. Yakima's, forget the model, they are the "tires on" style with the claw that grabs and holds the bike.
  13. Get the truck now and the jeep in 2 years
  14. I said the bike is fast, didn't say "I" was .
  15. Of course it was. No, actually you can't. And the inconvenience of unexpected repairs and issues is worse then the actual cost. That shop did the best they could, they were not a mazda dealer, they did ALOT of repairs for us at no cost to try and resolve the issues were were having. They helped us out more than you know. So, in your opinion, we should have just kept repairing a 8yr old car with 123K+ miles? Hundred bucks this month, 500 the next, maybe even more after that? How can you seriously think thats better than buying something new? Brand new includes warranties, free roadside assistance and a whole lot of "peace of mind".
