  1. Or one of these... http://outdoorsafetygps.com/
  2. Damn the GoPro HD shoots a nice vid.
  3. Boy what a nightmare it was riding thru Johnstown today! I came home on 62 from riding in Coshocton, not only was this event going on in the town square but EVERY damn house along Rt 62 for MILES East of the city was having garage and yard sales! Traffic stopping without notice, cars pulling out of driveways, general mayhem.
  4. Which is why I never let off the back brake until I straightened it up and was off onto the side road. I knew once I started to fishtail if I let off it I'd have probably got bucked right off the bike.
  5. No way dude. There's no one to blame in a situation like this besides myself. It all turned out okay anyway!
  6. It did the same thing with mooses turn remember. Its the wide angle lens.
  7. Okay, here's the video. If you turn up your volume real loud you can hear my tire squealin. The gopro doesn't pick up much sound "behind" it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z2L2pn35Ulk When I stopped at the sign back on the corner I had to get off the bike a minute and walk it off, was a little freaked at that moment. The guy on the riding mower across the street asked if I was alright, said he saw me sliding back and forth!
  8. I know right. I'm fast earning a reputation for "off roading". But if the last TWO rides with TaRR and Todd have taught me anything it's that I've got some mad recovery skills! (actually I'm just damn lucky)
  9. Thats the route where moose went down. We never did complete that loop.
  10. Not knowing the road for me is what did it. You guys were long gone, so trying to keep up is pointless The turn before it was a 35mph left and pretty moderate, sped up out of it and saw the sign that said 25mph right and assumed it might have been a easy turn too, but no it was more like a 15mph 90deg right angle turn, when I realized I was going way to fast to possibly make the turn I attempted to slow down fast, end result was locking up the rear. Slid one way, slid the other way, slid back the first way and decided my best bet was to just run right off onto the side road in the turn. If that road wasn't there I'd have been in the woods Just got back in from runnin some errands, let me get the video cropped and uploaded to youtube.
  11. Thanks. Just looked at it, amazing that I was able to keep it up. I also found a big scuff on my left boot and small one on my left knee, I'm tellin ya it seemed like I was inches from layin it on its left side! I don't care what anyone says about using the rear brake, I think if I would have let off the rear my tires would have caught and I'd probably got bucked off it. Going to get some food, will post the video later!
  12. I'd rather have someone with me when on a ride like that. Just in case.
  13. Okay, I'm in with TaRR. 41/772 are a little to curvy to be riding alone
  14. Nobody? C'mon its gonna be beautiful today. 41 & 772 are pretty fun roads! Norb, what does your post have to do with a Labor Day weekend ride in Central Ohio??
  15. If anyone not going on the Coshocton ride with TaRR tomorrow would like to go for a ride with me let me know. I'm thinking about running a favorite of mine... 41 & 772 Its not a real long loop but its fun. Head down to Chillicothe, pickup 772, run that down to 73, 73 West to 41. 41 North to Greenfield, probably 138 to Clarksburg to 207 to Mt Sterling, haven't figured the rest out yet. Anyone wanna go send me a pm. Pace will be "medium-ish". Probably leave from the West side before noon. Haven't decided for sure yet.
  16. I'll be there in a little while. Melissa will most likely be coming over later.
  17. I'm going. Melissa will probably be coming up later.
  18. You know what they say about dogs and their owners
  19. That may be one of the best dog videos I've ever seen. After abit I kinda forgot it was a dog Thats some pretty damn good training there.

Wrong! ZeroCool (think that was his name) throws that disk in the TRASH and as hes being hauled away by the feds starts shouting "Trash the planet" to tip off his buddy to look in the trash can! Ha!
