It's Bill Gates way of Check and Balances. It's annoying as shit. You would think since the 360 has been out for so long they would have fixed it by now.

Go with the XBOX Pro. You don't have to keep memory cards. Some of the newer games take up a shit storm of space.

Or get $200 model and upgrade to a 120GB hard drive. That should last you a while.

Granted you only want to play sotre bought games. XBOX Live gives you the option to try the demo before you go spend $60 on a new game. Then have it suck. Plus XBOX live gives you a down loadable arcade, with a plethora of old school arcade games.

So my advice for you is $299 Pro

OR $199 Arcade + $140 hard drive.

You won't be disappointed. (at least util it red rings)

Yellow cymbal pad on the GHWT set seems to be failing. Gamestop has an 80% return rate on the pre-orders.

As far as them being compatible with one another. That is a negatory. GH won't work with Rock Band, and Vica Versa. Guitars and mics will work. But not the drum set. GH has 5 pads plus a pedal. RB has only 4 pads and a pedal.
