  1. I'm was also receiving the cloudfare 520 error while connected on my cell (android), dolphin browser. Connect to verizon 4G, I would usually have to flush the cache for the page to display. Without flushing the cache it was hit or miss on whether I could connect or not. I don't really connect on my home PC, so sorry I didn't test that.
I have a screenshot on my phone, just have to find it.

Flat taxes are inherently not fair.  Easy yes, fair no.

God help me.....please define what is fair.

Everyone pays the same rate. You make more, you pay more. You make less you pay less.
Loopholes closed, tax evasion averted. No more moving shit overseas, to dodge the tax man.

El Vaquero - A Mexican place on 33 and Trabue.

Old Bag of Nails - Heard of this place but never been

    Menu: http://www.oldbagofnails.com/menu/

CBC or Smokehouse are the only ones I know about that brew their own stuff in-house, at least on the west side.

Bag of Nails is way to small to accommodate any type of group over 6.
Awesome food and drink though. All you can eat fish, all the time. It is a bit pricey.

I've never been there but I've heard good things about The Smokehouse Brewing Co. , I think it's towards the west side, but still inside 270.

This place is pretty good for beer. Food is ok, but nothing really to write home about. I find it's really hit of miss. It's actually in Grandview Heights on US 33/Dublin Rd. The only problem I've ever really had is the service is kind of shitty.

I was approved for Global Entry today. No more waiting in lines for passport control/customs. No more taking off my coat, shoes, belt, etc. No more pulling out my laptop and liquids. Today is a happy day.

Global entry sounds very dirty... Especially if you have a line for to take your clothes off.

  6. Phrasing was all kinds of skewed with that one. I'm not a fan of Kasich, but the quote circling around the interwebs definitely took what he said, and put a negative spin on it.

He was comparing his start in Politics catering to all the sexes in the to how the previous generation catered to only men. His phrasing was terrible, and the media only highlighted that part.

  7. So they offered me two months of payments as reimbursement for having my vehicle in the shop for almost 3 months Chrysler rep is giving me until Wednesday the 24th to put more miles on the new transmission. Right now I'm at 100 miles without any issue. Gonna run the puss out of it this weekend for a proper shakedown

Overall a shitty experience, but I'm happy with the outcome thus far.

  8. Apparently  there was a leak or a hole in the catalytic converter. Covered under the emissions warranty.

Got the truck back today. Managed to make it all the way home with no trouble codes! Hooray!

The Chrsyler rep offered me oil changes and tire rotations for 3 years on their dime. I asked about the re-imbursement for car payments for time in the shop. She  told me I could have one or the other.

They gave me until end of business day Friday to report any issues or concerns. So gonna drive the puss out of it for 2 days.

HopefullyI don't have to make another trek back to the dealership.

Then i have to decide if I really need a $500(ish) 9mm, or if a more 'entry' level gun is just as good for someone like me.  I want something accurate, but I'm not going to competition shoot.  The M&P 9 for sale here is a good price, but for $299 (or less) I could get the SD9 VE.

Do yourself a favor and don't buy that. While it's cheap, and reliable, it's not a joy to shoot. I don't find the grip to be super forgiving after about 100 rounds.
Spend the extra $200 or so and get an M&P if you're going for S&W. Better comfort IMO, for all day fun. Plus the interchangeable backstraps give you versatility for hand size and grip.

That is of course my opinion, which everyone has. Get what best suites you, for what you want to do.
9mm isn't really too bad right now. Cabelas had 100/$21 yesterday. I find .22LR to be more expensive and harder to find still.

We don't know why the lean code showed up, someone could have damaged a sensor or wiring with transmission removal.

This is my thought as well. I was trying to figure out why it got new O2 sensors with a transmission. But this makes the most sense.
Also makes me question what else got screwed up under there during the transmission replacement.

Some cliche about cooler heads prevailing, and attracting more flies with honey than vinegar...

Unless the honey is in your transmission and the vinegar in the radiator, then the prevailing heads don't cool properly, the transmission sounds like it's full of bees, and you've spent almost $10k fixing your Chrysler powertain.

    Keep a happy face.

I've only spent $832 for the solenoid pack way back in September. That was fix #2 they offered up. Everything else since then has been on Chrysler's dime. It will continue to be on their dime until it's corrected to my satisfaction.

  12. So I picked the truck up yesterday. They called me while I was in Canton yesterday.

Picked the truck up @ 4:45ish. Felt really good going down down the freeway. Twenty minutes into the trip, about halfway home, the trucks check engine light pops on. Called the dealership and my service adviser was gone. Spoke to another, they gave me the option to turn around and take it back or come back in the morning.

So I dropped it back off at the dealership this morning. They stated they drove it for 50 miles without issue, and will be test driving for the next 2 days.
They gave me a Jeep Renegade to drive in the meantime..wohoo.

From what they told me yesterday. Chrysler had the dealership rebuild the old tranny twice. Tore it down once rebuilt, still had problems, tore it down again, same problems. Then they moved to the re-manufactured transmission.  Total bill to Chrysler for just the parts was $9225.14. I looked through the itemized list before leaving yesterday.

I'm not sure who to hold responsible at this point. The dealership is getting direction from Chrysler Engineering, and Chrysler is footing the bill. I'm still a little miffed at the dealership for the service I received at the beginning of the process, and the length of time I've been without my truck.  I've only spouted off at the mouth once to a former service adviser, because he flat out called me a liar. Other than that, I've been pretty damn calm about the whole issue, surprisingly. Just not too sure how much longer I'm going to deal with it.

  13. They ordered a re manufactured transmission last week. I was notified Tuesday that it would take 3-5 days to arrive.
Work was to begin this morning, but I doubt that will actually happen.

They replaced parts, jerked around, replaced some more, stated that replacement parts were bad, jerked off some more. Still runs like crap apparently. Per the service adviser, it runs rougher now with the new parts, than it did with the old. After  going back and forth with the Chrysler engineering department it was deiced to get a re manufactured transmission.
I'm giving them until Saturday to correct the issue. After that, they can buy it back, and I'll never own another Chrysler product. I've already started looking for a new vehicle.
