Wait, so the cop/trooper did you a favor by not taking your bike, license, etc and you want to fight it? Uh, no, just pay it, you got lucky.
-
Man I always did like your style, great minds think alike! That profession has some serious $$ in it for sure. I mean I am sure neither you nor I do poorly, but still very helpful lol. And yeah, I remember in one of the investment thread you and I had basically the same outlook, and same thoughts on the $$ going to pay off debts or investing, and they were pretty much spot on.
-
I didn't know her before Med School, so nope, but her parents/family didn't contribute at all, which sucks, but so is life. She makes plenty to pay them off early if we wanted to, but if we are making way more in investments than she is paying in Gov't finance charges then that wouldn't be smart. If we were trying they would be paid off in 3 years, but it wouldn't be of any benefit, he highest rate is about 8%, and thats on a 5 year loan. Which to me is weird, but she has 5yr, 8yr, and 30 yr, loans, the 5yr and 8yr, are the higher 2 rates, the 30 is like 3% or 4% or something, and we are making that on her savings alone, not even looking at the IRA or when she starts her 401K. Shi**y, wedding is Saturday(29th), locked it up EDIT:For the record, I didn't have an SL debt due to parents investments and scholarships, and we are using the same guy and already winning.
-
As stated twice, this. My Fiance' is a Dr. and she had 0.00 help from her family what so ever so imagine her loans, same boat as you, more than my mtg payment. However, there wasn't a lower rate for her private loans available either, but some of that is becasue she didn't have much credit right out of college either. We've changed that, but after talking with our financial guy he advised to keep paying the mins and invest the rest of $$ into her IRA, 401K(Which she somehow missed the cutoff date to enroll AGAIN), and just worry about the SL's in the end. She has her rainy day cash on hand in a savings, her checking, and then IRA, and SL's. The SL's are the least of our worries at any given point. There isn't any reason to pay more than the min on them, unless they have a higher rate than a CCD, or than you are earning on your investments, in our case, we are earning more on her IRA already than paying in interest.

Oh shit, please God tell me I didn't miss him saying he was going to a more powerful bike?? I just started in on the drama part and wanted to stir the pot, but I don't want the guy to get hurt or worse by stepping up already. Bro listen, if you are thinking of stepping up already, please take 1 more year on the 250 and learn more, ride more, read more, watch videos. It's not a personal dig at this point, it's because I don't want something bad to happen. I didn't know shit about bikes when I bought my first 1K, luckily for me it was carb'd and heavy and not a true "crotch rocket", but I learned right away, read books, watched vids, took the MSF and passed with a 95%, etc. Right now, you clearly don't understand most of the basics in riding to step up already. Again, this isn't anything personal against you, it's more for your safety. Added; I even have the Keith Code books, A Twist of the Throttle 1/2, I will sell you for what I paid when I finish 2 if you want to read over the winter. I've learned a ton this season from them, and my times at the track show it.

God I heart you.

Wait, you expert, on what? Motorcycles? No way, I never knew you rode or had any useful knowledge on buying/selling, or the industry. Maybe I had you confused with R1 or Blue, they are both DBs, much unlike you or myself. I love OR, because I am an internet BadA**. Really, I love everyone on here though.

Wait, you mean she isn't whored out yet? WTF -
Shit, I was really hoping for way more out of this thread, but it failed. Anyways free bump.

I got a racer update today via Cox, but I'll let him and the others that made it sound off, no need for me to steal anyone's thunder on some good finishes!
-
Dude no shit right? Like granted he wasn't leaned over much, but still, and it sounds like it had been raining so wet grass etc. I'm surprised you didn't eat shit like face plant style, but that was really a pretty looking off tracker. And yes I said pretty as in 100% ghey as shit. Not you, me. But for real man, nice save, and yes, your upper body position needs a lot of improvement, which is where I started the season too. Glad you had a good time, and looking forward to meeting you next season.

Yeah u do, and me!

IN before this gets going. I have a lot going on today but I'm thinking 5 pages before I get done with it all and back to play catch up.
-
Yeah kinda weird, usually Basco barks at the slightest movement outside of the house, that morning he must have been sleeping hard because his crate is on the outside wall facing the street, but the guy most likely walked through the yard from the neighbors were he broke in too. The one thing is and Cox can attest, someone breaks in the house or comes in unwelcome, game over. Basco's too stupid to give up until he would have to be no longer breathing, and even then, not sure he would let go. He's a great watch dog and pal.

No worries dude, just glad he woke up actually. When someone tried to break into our shed... he slept.

Not sure I understand this one? So it's a one time use app? Because I just clicked it on the phone as I was exploring the new apps, and it gave me a map like view of where my phone was. The app is still there though and looks like it works. I can see if I did it from like my Itunes at home or something on my laptop, but it looks and acts like any other app right now.

Although upset this thread has lead to R1 cheating on me, in for 1 bro, PM me so I can get you funds. You got all our support man, and many others, and we are all in this with you, standing right by your side if you need anything. -
TT Cox, warmers will be on front porch today after work for pickup, just in case.
-
I am so hard right now. Enjoy guys, be careful out there and everyone come home in one piece. For those trying to reach Todd, we all know he is good people and will take care of you guys. Cox, make me proud brother!
-
I like it too actually. Got a few apps that I won't use and just deleting with it, but I like the find phone feature and assume I can use it via CLOUD from my laptop? Maps is fine, and everything else is too. I do believe ti made my phone slower as well though.
-
Read my mind bro, I actually did not order one.
-
Must resist. Also R1 i just realized the assist on the Kershaw is TOTALLY different than the CRKT, that is why I didn't get what you meant. Doh. BRO, that reverse serrated one is SICK, FUCK, I do not need another knife, but how can I not get one like that?

My ExGF and I swerved on a back country road to avoid a headon with a box truck because some kid pulled out from the right, and we ended up flipping end over end in my 4x4 lifted Ranger SC, then continued to roll atleast 7 times, and up to 9 from the distance the crash investigators figured. Airbags deployed, she was sleeping accross the seats, no belt, I held her in with my right arm as we flipped. The sound, the images, the smell, everything, is something I will never forget. We actualyl landed on our wheels upright, radio blairing, truck still trying to run. Ignition wouldnt turn off and I remember screaming at her to get out for fear of fire, she couldn't, had internal bleeding, cracked pelvis, highest level concussion, etc. I was fine, had some glass shards in my head and in my hand. I grabbed her and carried her away and to the side of the road. Box truck stopped and the passengers were helping when a neighbor who heard it came running with her husband, she was an RN or EMT I forget, but she took care of my ex as I tried to gather myself. Seperate ambulances arrived about 10 after the statey did, we were 20 miles from hospital, etc. No one realized how many times we rolled/flipped as they told us in the hospital they would ahve taken us to a trama center via helecopter instead of a low level country hospital, but no biggy. I was driving the next day. I rationalized that my chances of something like that happening were so great it would never happen again, especially if it happend at all. My dad has drove for work for 35years when he retired, and still drives to MT and CO annually, never had a bad wreck once. Mom drove alot too, same thing. YOU have to convince yourself that it happened once, you walked away, you will again if it happens again. The chances of it happening again are so slim, I'd assume you have a better chance getting hit by lightning. Glad you are okay, and as for the bike, well yeah, I would probably have taken a break or sold it after mine too. I rode street for a few years and have since gone to track. OH AND I bought an F150, and now an F250, and made my fiance get a bigger SUV then the 4 door sedan she had when we met. My family isn't allowed to have any kids we may have in anything smaller than an Edge, and her family all has big vans or suv's. That's why I am a Ford beleiver for life, the Ranger crushed where it should have, rolled up like it should have, and I walked away, Kim would have too if she had a seatbelt on. I met the EMT's, Fire, and trooper later in the week and they along with the local junkyard said we should have died for sure.
