So I think I might be done for the season...
madcat6183 replied to r1crusher's topic in Track is Crack
Tires, travel, fuel, etc. Not trying to be debbie downer, but priorities are also big with wedding and honeymoon etc. I don't just do track days fyi, racing is also included in every weekend I go to anymore, so thats 2 days, not 1 etc. Granted this weekend I am skipping Sat. to just race Sunday, so who knows. Im just stoked he got his GSXR fixed up already, hopefully mine goes the same. -
Nelson MS next weekend, being that we run the same events pretty much bro, I wouldn't even consider taking yours. I figure if they cant fix it tomorrow and have to ghetto rig it then it's pretty much done. Gixxie posted a quick fix that I HOPE works tomorrow, but if not, I'll be ordering a replacement from Ebay, but that would be the track funds I had saved for Putnam so most likely after Nelson next weekend, I'd just wrap things up for the season. Well, until after the wedding that is, and in that case I'd most likely make a trip south around the holidays to hit something before the new years, and the last Gratten round with MS. Thanks though buddy, just glad you can get back out there.

Good to hear, BUT now its ME that might be donezo... Radiator is leaking around the cap. Hoping that Cox and Craig can fix it tomorrow and not have to use sealer/repair to seal the cap in place. But either way, going to have to get a new radiator from the sounds of it, and right now that is NOT in the budget. 225 shipped on Ebay is nothing planned. Game ender but oh well, always next season. Glad you can get back out there buddy! -
Thanks Prez, I relayed that to Craig and Cox, I don't want to know how you know lol.

Turns out my radiator fill spout is toast and that's the reason the bike's been running so hot and not holding coolant. (Thanks to Blue0636 and SJC1000RR for finding out), so with a race next weekend I really need a new one ASAP. For the time being it's just being filled constantly and run, but would prefer not to be ghetto at an actual race weekend. PM me if you can or text/call 419-six one zero-5666 - John PS if someone has their 06 GSXR torn apart and I can just borrow it, I promise to return it after the event, and obviously if I wad it up, buy you a replacement. Thanks!

Its not and never has been the guns, I don't give a shit what people say, its the people. I plan on stocking up on more guns and ammo this weekend. Stats just don't mean anything to me anymore because everything is bias and reports are all just dependant on who responds, like texting and driving. We ALL do it, yet I bet most respond no we don't, or think we've stopped. Guns are bad mmmkay, but I want more.

I went through there 2 weeks ago from Belmont fairgrounds(just over the hill from Jambo), 70W sucks no matter what if you are coming from 77S, but the back up was/is minimal. Actually I came through a week later from 77S and you just have to shoot down 1 exit to Cambridge/Byesville south exit and turn around. Add 15-20 mins tops. As for Jambo my fraternity brother owns one of the campgrounds, and I havent been forever. But good times.

Im not expert in cell's so I went with an Iphone 4 and LOVE IT. Will never have anything else. For those that aren't tech savy or just want a phone for calling, texting, and maybe some face book, Iphone.

Fact, Im so freaking jealous COX and Craig are staying with you tonight and not me. I bet Jen wouldn't mind if we shagged it up a little before bed with those soft hands you could hold me tight. If we don't have a reply via Brandon tomorrow I'll text him. Wait Jinu, text your boyfriend and tell him about these, I bet he'd jump all over them like he does Gatsby at the track. -

Well there may be more issues too, possibly a head gasket leak too. Craig said he thinks he and I can pull it apart and repair in less than a day. Priced them already 55 shipped and figure I'd do new plugs while Im at it. He's running the bike this weekend at Putnam and I'll check next week to see if it lost coolant again. It had as of last night and I topped it off. Don't worry I won't be gone forever, still want to run Gratten end of the season no matter what. -
Crazy really, back in the day we did things for "hazing" but never anything like this. I mean I went through it on both ends and it was always minor, not even bruising or anything like that. I just don't understand what is going on with the world today.

Coming from an AMA pro racer, I'd probably follow his advice. Thanks Prez!

Dont hold me to it but I think they expire too.... So like yeah, there are always people asking about this kinda thing on WERA etc because it takes so long lol.

I've heard its actually worse for those with permits to be caught in a no carry zone than for those that have no permit. Anyone validate that? As for me, this reminds me why I need to start carrying more. Everywhere I go really.

Good people there, they definitely help making it easier to deal with. When I go home to my parents(the house you grabbed that genny from), I still try to stop by where our dog's buried in the back woods and say hi. Glad you were able to keep the suffering to a minimum.

Sorry to hear boss, cherish the memories, and know she is resting in a better place.

Another good write up Prez, always enjoy reading what you have to say, you are living many of our dreams and I respect the he** out of that. Was telling my fiance' all about you this weekend and checking the live scoring etc. Congrats and maybe next time don't hit the bottle too hard lol. jk bro, that's what keeps AMA real, being able to hangout with the top dawgs.

Funny I JUST told my friend on FB that is getting ready to replace his clutch that they are known for that and mine is okay for now, but I can start to tell it will need a rebuild soon. Usually going from WOT to like 2nd gear it is starting to catch a false neutral every so often, or just sit in N vs. hitting 2nd. Think Nelson 12/13, had to stand it up lsat event I was at and hit 1st gear. If it makes you feel better, I think Nelson will be my last event for a bit too. Wedding will be 60 days out and I need to really focus my finances on that and the honeymoon. -
Roger that, I'll definitely find you if I make it. Hope to, just gotta see what transpires in the next 48 hours lol.

Anyone besides Rusty and Brian running? I know some MotoSeries guys are, and I am planning to head up Saturday morning right after the gym and help as many of them out as I can. Figure I'd see if anyone else was going to run or was going to watch? I think I'll bring my Mtn. Bike along to move around the track during the races but spend most of my time in the pits/paddock with the crew. KTMBrian, your family coming out? I know you usually have your son at the track but being a larger event then the MS wasn't sure with you running demos etc. if you'd need some extra help too? I think you still got my number if so, or just look for me and let me know/I'll stop by and say hi obviouslly.

Powerlifting etc won't do anything for this, it's just a different force on the muscles then squatting, leg ext, lunges, etc. Best option, running or getting a bike. I'm getting back into biking to lose weight and help with the racing and track days. Normally I'm only sore if I ride 3 days now, used to be 1 day and I was toast.
