  1. I think a huge difference is knowledge about riding. I hadn't doubled in years except on dirtbikes and this year I doubled a few times so far and the person had some riding experience and that made a huge difference. I think the best was is to have them hold on, not too tight naturally, during normal riding, but once braking is required at a light or something like that, then put their hands on the tank. I caught a helmet to the back of the dome a few times, but nothing hardcore. If the person doesn't have riding experience I think its important to cover the basics first too. And honestly, Id say my bike probably is more user friendly then the true sport bikes just due to thet setup. Glad Missy got to ride!
  2. Sounds perfect man. Just let me know, I m down.

  3. LIzard, you gonna be around 29/30 June?
  4. My boy with a GSXR and WS6 was rolling back from LIma to OSU in his WS6 on 75 and ran over an open end wrench. He noticed once the tire started to tremble not due ot the flat. Punctured the sidewall right through the base of the tire too. Its not on his keychain. Kinda crazy how stuff like that happens.
  5. Hey boss, I didnt invite ananda or mike yet. I wanted to make sure you were down etc. and really didnt mind who rode with us. I can invite them if you'd like, if you wanna keep it smaller, I won't. No worries.

  6. Wow 300, glad I spent the 25 on the state course. But either way man, atleast you got your license.
  7. Man that is so hotttt. I mean the bike naturally.

    Arnold 09 003

Haha Trey is a real nice guy actually. Gentle giant style. I was a little surprised because I was the first one that he stood up with to get a pic and shake his hand. He didnt even charge me! lol
  10. Nice man, I got in about 150 or so, how is Atwood area? I was thinking of heading to T county sometime and hittimg some roads I know in that area. But the drive from CBus is gonna suck.
  11. Drewbie, Bout time you got on here! So lets see, I ll be home next weekend, I forgot I have crawl for cancer(bar crawl for us) the 30th, so I ll have to come home before that to get our trailer ready for the races and ride some with ya. If its nice next weekend maybe I ll come back get the bike and ride back up. I ll talk to ya later today, glad you joined, this place is addicting! And I thought this year we were going for Jeep not Babb?? Im still a Babb fan at heart though bro.
  12. Wait, I totally thought you were kidding about this. Damnit, friday at work you should have told me this was for real. I would have def. taken a massage today, I might have to make time tomorrow now.
  13. Sucks to hear about someone down, heal fast. Rc51 and myself had a good run early in the day until he got a flat 40 miles from home. But atleast we hauled it home safe and sound. Ousley99 and Flounder joined up later in the day and we ran 188 down here. Glad they did, it turned out to be a great ride. Drove around 270 for a bit after, but damn freeways are soo boring.
  14. Is that the taliban? I always wondered what they really looked like.
  15. Ya I def. got told to slow down and take it easy several times. The enduro was a blast for the slalom. Light and easy to whip around
  16. 30-40 is a lil high for Hocking. RC51, 188 long style if the weather sucks...??
  17. Man read that on Craigs. I hope you catch them or atleast get your bikes back bro.
  18. Good stuff, old stomping grounds, Mansfield, know some serious roads out there, but like ya said, lots of gravel.
  19. "Redneck" neck being key word. Not my wife beater or cutoff tan, just my redneck. But ya, jeans and L/S t. Someone even got told to put their sleeves down sunday a few times cuz he had rolled them up. They are pretty serious about that due to liability. Good times.

    Auto ramps

So wait, car or truck? I have both. I have car ramps at my parents in Mansfield, and might be going home sunday to get my dudes GSXR or if not Ill be home next weekend for sure. If you need bike ramps I have those too. Let me know you can borrow them. PM me as I dont check this thread often, just randomly bored at work today.
  21. Wear whatever ya want for tonight the riding is the only time (sat/sun) you need to meet the required gear. Checkout the Daily Ride section for a great breakdown. I think you posted there too?
  22. ?? Hm, confused. Either way, lets pray for a dry day.
  23. Just did mine last tuesday and last sat/sun, glad it was that weekend in the sun, worked on my redneck tan lol. Anyways, they broke it down to a T. You ll get the take home exam today, just do it as soon as you get home, turn it in tomo, they ll tell you what you missed, if any, then have you correct it sunday and turn it back in. Riding is well, if youve never rode before good, if you have, well it might be a bit slow... BUT the text is the figure 8 in the box(u turns, getting the motard/enduro helps here), The avoid swerve(you ll be told to go right as thats the harder side to swerve/turn to), braking, and the swooping right hand turn. Its not hard to pass, but we did have 2 people not get enough points to get their endorsement, so I guess it is possible to fail. I was the only one out of 24 people who had more then 1 yr seat time, and 22 total people passed in our class. Do the math, chances are good lol. ENJOY!!
