  1. Come on twins lets play. Edit; weather is not looking promising, actually its not looking promising for the next 10 days....
  2. Weather isnt looking all that sweet I gotta admit, however Im still down for trying. Start time approx 10am. Early I know, but I have races that I wanna leave for about 4.
  3. OK, RC and I are planning a ride into Hocking, last time I hit this section and it was a lil iffy but with the rain etc. lately I think it ll be good to go. Anyways, its about 3-4 hours, takes us through Hocking and back into nelsonville, we can then either reverse the route or head up 33, or split and do both. So far, I think the only 1 who is in that I have asked is RC, and Ousley99. Im not gonna post it in the Cbus section because last time we had too many people and too many accidents. I want people to ride in their comfort zone, or just above, but not enough to get hurt. 374 is the 1st road we hit, take that into hocking, then hit 180 into Laurelville(Stop and rest/eat/fuel), 56 Out of Laurelville, 56 to 278 into Nelsonville and then IF we want another 2-3 hours 685 to 78 to Glouster(this is where I stopped) 78 to 60 into 70 and about 45mins on 70, maybe less actually. That ride in its entirety is 8hrs or so, maybe 7 with shorter lunch and NO accident cleanups. The first half just into nelsonville was about 4hrs with 2 bikes down and 4 stops. Personally so long as its under a 30% chance of rain Im in for hocking ride. If its about that, I ll probably just hit some local roads, 188 maybe all the way south, and back, I dunno. Either way, thats the route I have planned for saturday, if anyone else has one post it up.
  4. Ill be at calling hourse, just popping in man, letting you and carrie get some family and close friends time, but atleast stopping in. And if you all need a b-e-e-r-r-u-n just get at me tomorrow night, I can always handle that.
  5. Shiat, I wouldve been in but made plans today at lunch.
  6. Thoughts and prayers with him, his family, and his friends.
  7. Good seeing ya all, pretty slow and had to leave about 845, but still fun.
  8. Dover, shit man if I wouldve grabbed your ## I wouldve back roaded it with ya. I live in Groveport, if you get this stat, get at me 419-610-5666. If not I l lsee ya there bro. Be safe. Kai, Dallas, you guys in? Havent seen ya in forever! See ya all at shell 7pm.
  9. Dover, IF youre on the HD be careful man, alot of chrome and weight on freeway. But after seeing you handle that 250 ninja I aint too worried. I ll be at Shell 7pm.
  10. And caging it to work... again. But the PM looks a little more promising now atleast.
  11. Uhhhh is that a snowmobile or am I just drunk off this sweet tea? Love it, I think I need one of those things too.
  12. Sorry yes, you get the waiver with BRC 1 or 2. There is then the ERC as well, which you need your endorsement for 1 yr before you can take. The ERC is on your own bike.
  13. RC, Are you riding on temps bro? I just completed my class saturday, we had 5 walk ins get in, but for real, its just like they say, a LOTTERY. Numbers drawn out of a friggin bucket. Anyways, it was good, Im not the greatest rider, but overall, I really didn't pick too much up. However it was fun to ride the 250 Ninjas and Motards. I need to invest in one of those ASAP.
  14. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends. May he rest in everlasting peace.
  15. Haha, 1.2 miles. But Ive seen more then 1 bike down in that 1.2 miles in the 2 years I've lived there. Just a busy intersection and like I said, I gear up all the time. Again though, personal preference, I dont hate, I appreciate.
  16. Funny, I just had this convo with 2 cruiser coworkers yesterday. I have NOTHING against HD's or cruisers but both of them didnt understand why I wear gear daily to travel 3 miles to work, etc. I explained that to me it was worth it so that if something did happen, I would have a better chance, wether that does happen or not, I'd like to up my odds with gear. Not to mention never know when I might hop out early or at lunch and hit some twisties, 188 etc. Working and livign where I do gives me alot of time to hit the back roads and I feel I would rather have my stuff then not. I really dont care what people wear BUT I feel people should have some sense of safety for themselves, however if they feel safe with nothing, thats their choice. I ll still help anyone on a bike, but Id like to see people in gear more often. Leather/Tex. helmet, gauntlet gloves, pants, and hightops or riding boots, even just to go get gas.
  17. Ya just killed Thurmans saturday had the bacon, ranch, peperjack burger, its gonna be tuff to top that. Altho the local diner here has some killer burgers, but not Thurman burgers. I still need to make taht challenge happen.
  18. Ya I wanna ride for sure, playing it by ear and not ruling anything out until the 635 etd.
  19. YA he said he is fighting with the ins. company since it was a "rider improvement course" not a race.
  20. Ya, one of my local friends from Mansfield totalled his this weekend, it was a black honda, laid it down and flipped it/rolled it a few times. He said Ins. isnt going to cover it and now he has a reason to buy it back and make a full track bike out of it. If I had the $$ I'd go for a 2nd bike before buying a 2nd set of plastics, but thats just my take.
  21. Uh oh, weather.com not looking soo good.
  22. O really? I usually like to do things the easy way. Well not if it involves some catortionist movements, then its just hard.
  23. Vrod, you still got my cell/ 419-610-5666? I am planning on it so could use some riding companions. PRobably stop and grab Scmuck and his girl on the way, just off 270. I m trying to get RC51 to join up too.
  24. Haha, hell yea you were. You rocked it out!
