  1. Technically, those are made in AMerica for the most part anymore, just as much if not as much as any Domestic is LOLZ. Not so much the used around their price range, but definitely the newer. The V10, my neighbor has 2, 1 F350 and 1 Excursion. When thinking "truck" you need to think about what you are getting it for. You're talking about an F350, the ONLY reason anyone needs one is to tow. If you are not towing, get an F150 or something like Hob's commeted. The V10 will drink gas worse than anything out there and even more so when towing. Not a bad motor and for a gasser very reliable actually. But trust me, if you aren't towing or don't need it to tow at least 1-2 weeks a month, forget it. Save the cash, get a used F150, they are out there, just have to look a little harder. As Bowdog said, the front ends, especially in those have a horrible wobble. Most came standard with a single front end steering stabilizer but if not replaced often(every 2 years), they are worthless so plan on that, or get a dual one. I believe those also still used the leaf spring front suspension so the ride won't be awesome, but it's also not a luxury truck like the F150's were made to be from 04 on. Personally, I would stay away from a V10 simply due to MPG, but that is just me. Figure maybe get 10-11 avg I would think, and about 6-7 towing anything. If you squeeze 13 avg out I'd be surprised. granted gas is cheaper than diesel, but the loss of power and torque vs a diesel to me isn't worth it. I understand your price concerns, but if you look hard, you can still find something what I would say to be a little better and easier on the pocket than a V10 F350. Just my 2 cents.
  2. Uh wait, you have a boat? How did this never come up in convo? Dude, this summer, I need to make a man weekend trip with you and Max, etc. 4 wheelers(Been about 10 yaers since I've rode), and some then some boating with the wife. She likes water and boats, and we usually go to MI for a weekend trip with the family to their lake houses, but this year it's too close to baby time. Naturally, I'll pay whatever I have to for both, fuel, lodging, BJs, whatever.
  3. I was thinking about how I could drop some lbs, I think by not wearing anything under my leather suit I can save about 1lb, thoughts?
  4. Bump, turned out the cart I went to look at was too big of a POS for me. Had one in Zville lined up for a backup, but looks to have fallen through. I've found a few dealers but their inventory is limited right now. Granted I have about 45 days until I need one. Edit, Really just looking to help someone out if they are unloading one. If not, dealers back home have them in our price range, and way newer than what I was finding on Craigslist. So if someone hears of someone looking to sell one, cool, if not, no worries.
  5. Oh I read that a while ago when it was posted in the off topic or something. Sorry, I forgot about that part. Yeah, itll be like that, except, we will be doing gay stuff.
  6. Agreed, cuz I have 0 idea. Knowing Bowdog, it was epic though.
  7. Train set is put up right now, but we can all cuddle in my car bed(Grandma's boys). Crab meat, heck no, I can't grill that.
  8. So I wanted to host a mod meet before the winter was over, well before the season started, but honestly, with us trying to sell the house, traveling, etc. there was no time. Blue1231293129391 is staying tomorrow night for some test to be like smart or something Saturday morning downtown, and we plan to swap my swingarm and drink. Probably mess with some suspension a tad too, and reset everything for Nelson. Oh and swap rotors if I remember to get it, if not, I'll just do that at Nelson when Todd does my rear tire. Anyways, figure Cox is planning to stop over, so I'll toss an invite out there. We plan to grill, drink beer, and just hang out. Nothing too serious, but we will do a little wrenching on the bike and then just kick it. I have 2 of last seasons MotoGP events still on DVR along with last years Isle of Mann series, so we could get naked and watch those too. If anyone around the area wants to come over and just hangout for a bit feel free. Bring a burger or steak or something if you want it grilled, just got a new grill and still practicing on the sear burner so the more the merrier. If you want beer and don't bring any, I have Mexican beers from my bachelor party I just found in the basement fridge you can drink to get rid of them. I live in Groveport, and you can PM me or post up and I will get you my address. If you have something simple you wanna do with your bike bring it too. Blue123123123 can't be up too late as his test is actually semi-serious or some crap, and my wife will be sleeping by 10pm as shes preggers, but we can still hangout and kick it after.
  9. Marty, come closer don't forget to have Brandon add your pre-register link to the first post. Gotta get you some business to keep your sexyself busy at the track.
  10. Dude we may sample each others meats at the grocery store. And yes to the Fliet's with bacon. I mean everything has bacon right?
  11. K, then yea, BYOMeat, and then like a side dish. Chips, beans, mac/potat salad. And don't be a f*g and jew out, do it.
  12. You know you're always more than welcome to come up with me and Murse dude. We plan to bring Cox along as much as he can get off work whether he wants to go or not. He know's a ton about suspension and racing so good to have him along. You, well you give great HJs.
  13. We gonna go balla status? We can, I love me some steak. Should we do BYOBeef too? And pot luck the rest of the stuff? I dont eat shitty steaks, if Im gonna eat one, it's legit. Maybe have people bring their own meet, beer, and then the rest is just random. No signup, just whatever.
  14. This thread is about to go 24 hrs without a post, can't let that happen. So for the meet n greet Saturday night I will bring some meats, thinking some burgers to grill? Come on, you all knew I was bringing THE MEAT. Count will go off of the signup in the original post and there will be some extras.
  15. Obviously the correct answer is Shinkos.
  16. Never said he shouldn't, just said that us "track guys" may not be as dumb as some elluded to earlier. I could care less, and like I said, I have no experience with lowering a bike, only raising the forks on my GSXR for geometry reasons. I just think it's shitty when we get talked about like we are clueless and don't ride, or only ride on the track. And I fully agree with the mtn vs molehill comment, have since this thread started.
  17. I don't really have any input in this sine I ride a GSXR and have never even took a short ride on an R6. But in the end, most if not ALL of these "Track only" guys/gals have and will continue to put more miles on the street than a lot of these "street riders". Actually most could not ride a single track event for a season and still put more miles on their bike in a year than most OR members do. That being said, they are also the ones that study and research things like this not just for the track but for overal practicality. I.P., I'd say you pretty much summed up this thread.
  18. Take some off, how does that work? Like the opposite of Viagra?
  19. Bowdog is legit, I'd def look at this if I was in the market.
  20. Im going to say this since I said it in the post about rebuilding whoever's bike went down last weekend. It is still too early to tide Hocking. Hope there aren't anymore wrecks, but at least I warned everyone.
