Hey man, I had the same issue, except small dog that just wandered all over the neighborhood. I actually got one of those battery powered, low grade, plastic BBgun things from like Walmart. The ones that shoot the BB's that are red/yellow, etc. I forget the name right now, but it was full auto or 3 rd burst and ran on like AA's so it wasnt painful for the dog, but did let the dog know I was there. I would shoot it a few times and then it stopped coming around. Well then it died cuz it was super old. Don't hurt the dog but definitely confront the owners. We have had more issues than just that one, but the others we simply said something to the people, and even some of them being dicks, the poop stopped.

I run steering stabilizers adn a 4.5 lift and 35s so I can't really answer, but if its a 7.3 it should ahve the OEM steering stabilizer I believe, so may just need a new shock. Oilpan, hm, mine leaks a tad of oil in my 6.0 but not from the oil pan, and very little, like no drips on drive, more like burns a little.... I can't answer that, I am sure it's fixible, maybe just new gasket, pan, and bolt. Actually maybe the bolt doesn't have the crush washer. Mine didnt when I got it from the dealer. Drivetrain, not that I know of. One of the best drive trains in diesels that I've read of. V10, my neighbor has a 250 and Excursion both with that and I don't get it. The mpb has to be god awful, and they sound like sh*t with exhaust, at least his do.

Boom, do those and make sure all injectors are good, and good to go. In the 6.0 case I will probably stud it down the road, but right now, knock on wood, no puking or issues. Carwhore, your's studded? you got a local guy that does the job? I found one in CLE that told me 3300 for everything, but I arleady hjave the EGR delete, up pipe, etc. so he said he'd work with me. I know there was a local guy in Cbus on the east side that I talked to too. Think he was 3500 for everything and he told me the same thing, he would reuse what I arleady did to baby bulletproof it.

Only junk if preventative maintenance isn't done. No issues 135K that weren't covered by warranty. Granted I've modded it but yet to stud it or get a head job. HAHA Head job. But yeah, they are definitely not good if you don't take care of them. 7.3 is clearly the best diesel motor Ford's ever made though. 6.4 was easy to mod and cheap to get to 500 WHP but their exhaust and turbos had some issues from time to time. DPF is a bitch.

This, I run a 6.0, anything you want to know let me know. My uncle(inlaw) had a built 7.3 F250 with 10K in the tranny alone. The 7.3 can handle ANYTHING and has so many less issues than the 6.0. Diesel is more expensive BUT so worth it. I had an F150 before my F250 6.0 and even now with gas so much cheaper I would NEVER go back. NEVER. I read up a ton on the 7.3 and 6.0 daily as they are back to back engines so I know both pretty well. Reliability yes, power yes, mpg yes, love them.

Eric, aren't you friends with "Kimbler"? I'm the guy with the F250 around the corner that's talked to you a few times when you're in the neighborhood. Believe that's you. Yeah, 5 all late season, I don't know your skill set, but if I were you, I would worry more about track days right now than race school.

How many track days have you run again? I forget. Maybe get with R1, RVT, and those guys and see about how they are running and when they plan to step up to racing and get a group together for it, makes race school more enjoyable than doing it solo etc.

You don't technically have to sign up. AS long as you have the transponder number for Todd it will register and you can still look yourself up on Mylaps. FWIW, I would wait to buy one until you have passed race school and actually are racing. There's a lot of time left in the off season and just starting out this is probably the last thing to spend money on. Lap timer would be more beneficial. Suspension, tires, good gear, all that comes first though.

Wow, battery life is all dependant on how it was taken care of. Normally you charge to full the day before leaving, then can tune it up with the cig lighter. It takes about a day for a full charge from a socket so thats best. No you do not have to register, if you want to and its been registered its 40 I think, mine was free. These hold value like mad. I paid what those were listed for, for an older version, however I saved 40 or whatever and was able to register for free.

Goldstar, thread. Skyline is runny baby poop compared to Goldstar. Used to drive to Jeffersonville or Lebanon just to get it. Jeffersonville closed and I haven't been down to Lebanon for a while but need to make the trip for some. Man I love that stuff.
