it exits under the very bottom center of the bike and goes at a 45' angle outward. I thought the typical exit was at the bottom side or in the back middle. So i figured saying under would of been sufficient but now you should understand what i mean. My logic is not having to sell a 750 in a year and if i respect the throttle until i am comfortable, i dont see any harm. I am 6' 235 lbs, so with a passenger a 600 isnt really enjoyable to ride.

Saw an 09 gsxr 1000. Bike looks sharp but i am not familar with these. Has 2,300 miles. It has a pipe that exits under the bike, i saw this on another gsxr in Richmond last week. I would assume thats not the factory location, what kind of pipes exit under there? This is at a dealer so what else should i look for? Thanks

was driving home took off in 3rd, shifted to 4th smoothly, shifted to 5th, when the shifter got to the point in 5th where it should stop and be in gear, it went past and you could rock it back and forth and it would just grind with the clutch out. the only gear it would go in after that was 4th with a lil convincing and i was able to nurse it home in 4th. i got home and in the garage and noticed a loud vibration coming from the direction of the shifter and when i push the clutch in i hear what sounds like a gear slowing down then it becomes quiet until i release the clutch again. started it today and the noise is still there the same until you press in the clutch but it will go in all the gears smoothly and shift fine until i take it out on the road and go through a couple gears then it is back to the whole not going into any gears any idea what broke or what is bent?

Have pair of used Moroso spriral flow 3" mufflers. Mufflers were cut off at inlet and will have to be welded to 3" pipes. Mufflers have turndowns welded on. They do have some srapes and dents on the bottom as shown in pictures. $40 obo. These aren't the prettiest but are functional and would save someone some money on a true dual setup. Glad to see you into another fbody. I ran spiral flows for awhile and was happy with the sound. You don't have to worry about ground clearance as with a cased muffler when placed under the car.
