Our larger lasercutter has an area of 18" x 32", so I could engrave this piece for you, if you still need it done. I'm not extremely proficient in creating drawings in CAD or Corel (the two programs we use on our machine), but I've managed it before when creating a wood engraved plaque/card.

I have a laser cutter at work. How thick is the piece of wood? It looks like it may be too big, but I can check tomorrow.
Here's the site of a local metal fabrication company we use for cutting:

A laser cutter would work also. I made my fiancee a birthday card, engraved into wood, using one.
The natural wood looks nice. If you're planning on displaying it, consider the woodwork in your home to help your decision on whether or not to stain.
I recommend not putting decals on it.

Had a great time on this ride today! I've met some pretty cool people, although I'm not too sure how many I met are actually on this forum. Sorry, if I didn't come up and introduce myself; I'm one of those socially awkward, introverted people. I'm working on that.
I've never really ridden in a group, so this event not only helped to improve some skills, but has also helped me see the areas that I need to work on.
Thank you to everyone involved in the organization of this ride!

Just finalized plans with my best friend. In several weeks, she and I are meeting in Destin, Florida. We have rooms booked at the same resort. She doesn't do online social networking, and I haven't seen her since 2006. Awesome vacation, with the greatest company. Two wins.

I also grew up with both cats and dogs and believe dogs to be smarter. I'm a little biased though; I enjoy working with/training dogs more. I still can't get the cat to learn, "Get the fuck off the table!".
-
No harm in reruns.

I had a cat who jumped on the face of my friend's dog when she walked into my back yard to meet me. The cat latched on and proceeded to repeatedly rake the dog's face with her rear claws. The only difference was that the dog was as friendly as could be and was of no threat. It was a pretty viscous attack for what I presume to be purely territorial reasons.

Yes, the operator of the horse drawn buggy should have control over his "vehicle". He would be liable should something had gone worse than it did.
Just like in a vehicle. a tire could go flat, engine breaks down, radiator blows causing a potential hazardous situation. These instances can be minimized with routine maintenance and inspections, just as horse drawn buggy incidents be reduced with increased training. But sometimes, shit just happens.
Kudos to the rider for maintaining control.

XL PowerTrip vintage style women's leather jacket with removable liner for sale. In very good condition. Clean/smoke free home. I love this jacket. The only reason I'm selling it is because I've lost a bit of weight since purchasing so now it's too big for me. Asking $100 OBO.
There's a scratch on the underside of the left arm, the small hanger chain on the collar of the jacket has popped out on one side, and there's very light/faded pen mark on the back shoulder of the jacket.

I'd love to go! Although, I've agreed to go to the Adventure Expo with my fiance. I'm now trying to talk him into going on an actual adventure instead.

Awesome! Thanks for the updated route.
Sorry if I seem nitpicky. I do a lot of quality control...
Opinions needed on weird wood project

I live in Pataskala; work in Lewis Center.
This would be to engrave the wood itself. I don't believe our machines can cut/engrave metal.
It uses a high power laser that runs through optic lenses, focused on the material, it'll burn it away. You can adjust the settings of the laser (speed, power and pulses per inch- PPI), to cut or engrave different materials. For wood, you'd want to have a decreased power with increased speed so you don't set it on fire.
