  1. If you find that sub $6k 08+ ZX10R be sure to let us know! lol

Not quite sub $6k but they're out there, here are a few that are already sold or a little more than $6k, not many around Ohio though.

    http://www.zx-10r.net/forum/showthread.php?t=96091

I think he sold this one for less than $6k actually

    http://www.zx-10r.net/forum/showthread.php?t=93390

    $6.4k back to stock

Swung in and looked at this one they are advertising it there for $6,490 not the ebay price, but OTD was like $7k and a little change

I used to buy and sell bikes all the time, I just show up with cash and it's hard for buyers to turn down, no bullshit, people are always getting married, divorced, home improvements or losing jobs, not to be the vulture but they need money so they'll usually negotiate!

  2. Title says it all, I'm looking for a 08+ ZX10r in the Ohio area, I'd like to pay $6k or less. I've got a trade so u can stay on two wheels and put cash in your pocket or I've just got cash. Trades a one off cafe racer, 78 GS550 frame with a 93 Katana motor, I'll answer questions about it as they come and the SP1 's already sold. I'm a no BS'er if I don't like the bike I'll say so or if I do I'll hand you a wad of cash; I won't waste your time or my time. I looked at a blue 08 at J and J's in Massillon OTD was $7k and there's that other blue one on CL in Tuscarawas plugged here for $6.9k firm, I know they're out there for $6k or less. I've seen a few on the 10 forums location was just too far. Aradamro@yahoo.com 330-234-2305 call or text

Old thread to cafe racer, still looks the exact same, carbs need cleaned, runs but doesn't idle well at a stand still. I'd sell her outright too $2,500obo clean title, historical plate no need to renew every year.

    RC getcha some son!

Been through 5 bikes in a little over a year, 929, (2) 2nd gen R6's, 06 1000 gsx-r, cafe racer......never got rid of the RC the entire time. It becomes a part of you. I have four buddies lined up that want to buy the RC if that dreadful day ever comes. Get the RC and never look back, people will give you all kinds of opinions and tell you all kinds of things, but just get on the bike and ride it. The sheer joy of the v-twin sex will make you forget all about the comfort issue and if you are riding it how it is supposed to be ridden your ass will be shifting all over the seat anyways. Also, the Hayden edition looks insane when you powdercoat the wheels white and throw in red stainless lines.

  4. Some details about the cafe racer.

    78 GS550 (basically the frame)

    -93 750 Katana engine (slingshot head), 6-speed

    -Stage 3 jet kit

    -Custom intakes

    -Custom headers

    -Supertrapp mufflers

    -Forks from the Kat

    -Brakes from the Kat

-Modified steering stem to allow use in the older frame with modern taper bearings.

    -GS1100 swingarm

    -CB1000f shocks

    -Rearsets late 80's ninja

    -Katana wheels

-Tank hand hammered from the gs550

-Tail section and seat pan hand hammered metal

-Electronics under the seat, toggle switches for ignition and lights.

    -Conti Attack tires

    -DID chain

  5. Thank you all for the compliments and suggestions.

    ZIXXER9R

is it me or do you have two different cans on the RC?

Nope, cans are the same. Both old school Sato's. Eventually I'm going to get the Simon Kobe cans (real shorty motogp.)

    Fonzie

Cafe' looks cleeeean & FUN!!

    Details about the Trooper?

I'll pm you all the details, w/a link to pics

    max power

Thats a sweet cafe. Get some side covers made and its perfect.

Thats a clean old Pooper as well. That cant be a cleveland car.

Thought about side covers, but it has toggle switches under the seat as there is no key. I'm sure they can be made with hinges or some other mechanism to allow me access to under the seat in a relatively easy manner. Also, the battery sticks out a little on the one side so the covers couldn't be completely flush. I might be able to pick up a set of the stock covers for cheap and modify them to fit too. For now the plan is to powdercoat some stuff, pick a different color for the wheels, (possibly polished and red like the RC) get some stainless lines front and rear and a smaller oil cooler from a Bandit, since the current one is pretty big and bulky. Also, maybe another seat in the future, but for now I just want to ride the thing. You are correct, the Super Pooper was originally from California and has some cool things done to it. It is just a second vehicle that I don't drive very often. No use paying for tags and insurance if I don't drive it very often.

  6. I haven't posted or even been on the forums in a while, so I figured I'd say hello to all. I haven't even ridden for a long time, just been busy working and trying to find a job in my field. My RC51 was getting lonely in the garage so I had to get it a friend......here it is. A sweet little cafe racer. Also, a few pics of the RC for the twin lovers. BTW the 88 Trooper in picture 3 in the background is for sale too if anyone is interested.

  7. New Vortex 520 Pitch 50 tooth rear sprocket never installed. For an extra $5 I can powdercoat it black if you want. $40

    100_2934.jpg

Braided front brake lines. Not sure of the make, I think superbike though. They were used on a race bike and function great. They have a black coating. They don't look the prettiest as they have a few marks but they get the job done. Lines only no banjo bolts or crush washers. $40, I'll try and help with delivery, I'm usually up for riding wherever if there are some decent twisties along the way.

  8. New, Carbon fiber GP style shorty exhaust for 05-06 GSX-R 1000. It comes with the canister, mounting hardware and mid pipe. It is a very nice piece, tig welded. It has no names or markings on it and was from Japan. Haha you could slap on a decal and pull the cheater pipe (Akra or Termi style) You might be able to modify it to fit another bike. I was going to use it on my gsx-r but then decided to sell it. The exhaust reminds me of Simon Kobe's shorty carbon gp style pipes. Also, if someone is serious I could probably powdercoat the exhaust canister hanger black or whatever color they wanted, haven't powdercoated for awhile but if that was the deal breaker I'm sure I could do it. I'm looking to get $200. Thanks, Toni

  9. Agreed...I want those....Give you $200 :p

I appreciate the offer but I'm trying to play hardball on these boots as I'd like to get the entire $250. I turned down an offer of $250 if I shipped on the WERA boards. I think I screwed up and should of listed them for $260 shipped, those guys want deals almost as bad as the stuntlife crowd haha. The boots would look awesome with the white jacket. I also have a couple other things for sale, I'd let my Alpinestars 44 Vector 2 piece suit go, it's mint worn a dozen times, but I'd be pretty firm at $500 as it wasn't cheap close to a grand and I also have a sweet slip on carbon fiber exhaust and mid pipe for a 05-06 gsxr 1000 that I never installed. The canister is 12" long and it is kind of like the Level One Racing exhaust. It's tig welded and from Japan mounting hardware included. It has no name or markings on it. It could probably be made to fit another bike. Asking $200 it's a very nice piece. It reminds me of Simon Kobe's shorty carbon gp pipes.

PM's sent to those who requested anything.

  10. Price lowered to $6,900 obo. It's an amazing bike that gets tons of compliments. Didn't know if anyone knew of a friend, family member or coworker that was interested. Throw me an offer, not really interested in trades as I need a little money for some awesome student loans.

  11. Teknic Violator 2-piece suit Size 46 (older model)

It's a great suit, I wore it last season and had one low side. It held up well and I tried to take pictures of the damage. The right arm has three or four holes which look like they could be stitched and there is a little rash on the pants but no holes. I am 5'9" tall 187#'s have a 44" chest and the jacket fit me fine, but the pants were too big. They say 36 on them. I also put red ceramic Teknic pucks on the pants. The suit is perforated and does a great job of circulating air. All the zippers are fine and it zips together. There are some vents in the back that zip, the zippers still work but the mesh on the right side is ripped a little bit, not really noticable but I just want to disclose everything. Also, on the back of the jacket there are two straps that velcro to bring the waste in, the right strap came separated from the velcro. It comes with a liner and would be a great first suit. I never got the suit fixed because I ended up getting another one this season, but it is still in decent shape. Asking $275 obo

Teknic Leather Jacket Size 46 can't remember if it's a Chicane or what model. It's in mint condition. I started to turn into a gear whore and bought way more crap than I needed so this jacket got worn twice I believe. Come with liner. Fits more true to size as it was less snug on me than the Violator. Asking $125 obo

    100_2955.jpg

Teknic gloves Size XL not sure what model. They were too small for me and from here on out I'll only wear guantlet style gloves anyways. They are like new only worn twice. Asking $35obo

Sidi Vertigo Air white Size 11. These boots are awesome, but I really don't need another pair of boots as I have my Oxtars, and I'm actually a little afraid to get these beauties dirty. They are brand new only tried on once to make sure they fit and then never taken out of the box again until these pics were taken. They still have the new shoe smell. Asking $250 firm.

Women's leather MotoGP jacket. Black and gold size small. I don't think it was ever worn. It comes with a liner. Teknic boots worn maybe a half dozen times. Womens Size 7, they are in great shape. These are my sister's jacket and boots and I'm not really sure what she wants to ask, so make an offer if you are interested. I'll talk to her tonight when she gets off work and see what she's looking for. Sorry for the inconvenience.

  13. I'm pretty sure it never sold. Had a lot of offers right away but no one came through. Also, I think he's been down in New Orleans a lot as I'm pretty sure he's going to move down there for a couple of months. Haven't talked to Brandon in about 3 weeks.
