  1. Scorpion exhausts isn't a sister company to Akro. Certainly not even close in terms of quality or power output, either...

Food for thought, possible explanation to his thought behind scorpion being a sister company to Akro. Don't know for sure, just happened to see this and figured I'd post it up. Usually I don't consider something completely valid until I can find it at three different places.

  2. Nice, still think I'm partial to the red though. Good looking Devil, also one of my favorite pipes, had a high mount carbon on my 929. Is that a samurai in the garage, sweetness, I bet you're having fun in this snow? Love older boxy SUV's gotta represent with my 88 Trooper II.

  3. i love sr 60 one of my more favorite roads to ride when im alone and just clearing my mind

Hell yeah, practically uninhabited, fairly smooth, only ever seen one cop and usually not much loose gravel. I saw that they repaved a section at the Millersburg entrance, don't know how far they extended it. I always wanted to make a couple sweeps on that road in a car and clear off any debris, set up a couple people in various parts as spotters and mark off the entrance and exit and have my own personal course.

  4. Too bad it got claimed on 60 around my favorite 25mph "S" corner. Apparently the moriwaki pegs on the rearsets are fixed and don't flex like the stockers. When they dragged the road at an aggressive angle this set me down pretty fast and caused my lowside. Already picked up all the parts and a crap ton more goodies that I really didn't need to get her back to perfect, just haven't had the time to install them all yet. Picked up a complete set of used fairings.....$1500 yikes, should have invested in some $150 frame sliders, hindsights always 20/20.

  5. Yeah I saw that R6 in Cinccy. I'm not a huge fan of the black tail section, doesn't mesh well with the rest of the bike being blue. Also, I don't really want go to Cinccy I think it's cursed when I'm down there. I recently hauled my 929 down to cinccy to sell it to a guy and I was 10 miles from his house. I was getting off at an exit and looked in the rear view mirror and saw the bike tip over ahhhhhh. I couldn't even say anything. I told him I would replace the mirror that broke off and take the tail section home with me and have it repainted but I could tell he just wanted the bike then and there. He still bought it after I knocked a little off the price for the tip over. Like I mentioned I've been all over the Wera and Nesba forums. I've been trying to contact a guy on the Nesba forums that has a 03 r6 with track and street plastics but he won't get back to me. That other R6 looks pretty sweet, my buddy used to have the 03 limited, but I don't really like flames. Thanks for the ads guys, I'll keep looking and something will show up.

  6. I'll get pics of the rest when I get to the shop.

  7. Like I said, not my kegerator guys, buddies asking price, I'd be keeping it if it were mine. Also, he said it's a kegmeister by beermeister, commercial grade, not one of those $400 or $500 dollar ones like in the link. I know I know doesn't really matter though if it keeps the keg cold, trash can and ice. Damn, down in Charleston,SC where I used to go the deposit was $30, ripping off poor college kids haha.

  8. Sorry, I don't have a chicken suit just my Teknic Violator. As far as my address, I'd be happy to give it out, a lot of you gentleman have already advertised your weaponry so I know what I'm getting into, you'll just have to find out what armamentarium of mayhem awaits you! I appreciate the responses and unfortunately I'm not looking to spend any more than $4k. I've found some incredible deals for less, around $5k, 05 R1 and 06 GSXR1000, but I'm not looking to spend that much or pick up a liter bike. I just like the way the 600rr's and R6's feel and ride. I have nothing against any other brand as they are all very capable bikes, when piloted by a skilled rider. BTW here's a pic of my old R6, fun bike.

  9. I am looking to buy a 03-05 600rr or a 03+ R6 very partial to red. Not going to spend more than $4,000. I'm really only interested in bikes with clear titles. I've built a couple of bikes, but I don't have the time for that right now, so I'm looking for something in pretty good condition. I'm super particular about my bikes, and just sold a damn near mint 929, so please point out the little things in the description, as I like to know every detail the seller knows (a scratch or two is not going to send me packing I just don't usually like surprises.) I've done my leg work and have looked through tons of sportbike forums and live on craigslist and ebay. Please send me a detailed description and some clear pictures. I already have a RC51 so this bike is going to be track/street. I have cash in hand, no banks or phony buyers to deal with. Thanks,

    Antoni

  10. I just figured I'd say hello to everyone. I'm from Wooster,OH and love riding 60 (between Millersburg and 36 close to Coshocton), 83 and occasionally venture around 800. I lived down south for about 4 years and was spoiled by the mountain roads Caesar's Head, Saluda, Table Rock around there, but have found some nice roads in Ohio. Actually, I met a guy down on 60 that rode a 600rr and told me to check out Ohio Riders. I'd like to get on the track at Nelson's this year once I finish out my second degree. I'd definitely ride with anyone in the surrounding area once warmer weather rolls around. BTW looking for another bike too, wanted ad in the market place. Thanks, Antoni
