  1. Welcome! Sawmill & 270 area if you're around.
  2. What part is creepy? Diving? Pumpkin guts?!

  3. Welcome from the NW side, I live in the Sawmill & Hard area! Let me know when/where you'd like to ride. With regards to the rider you saw, was she on a red/black F4?!?!?!
  4. Still heading up, Nick? What time?
  5. While I firmly support the 1st Amendment, this is clearly too far. There are other "vocal groups" that enjoy making $ through legal fines, but at least you can walk away and ignore them. This has a captive audience who are collective for a honorable reason. You want the legal fines?! No problem: I'd like to see the money, in the form of pennies, soaked in BBQ sauce and placed in a room full of cocaine-addled Rottweilers. I'm willing to bet the money will lose it's appeal... http://www.cnn.com/2010/CRIME/03/30/westboro.baptist.snyder/index.html?hpt=T2
  6. Mid 40s with dry (and clear of winter salt!) is my cutoff. With the jacket that has vents, this allows me to be safe during the low temps while still be comfortable should the mid-day temp creep up. My major issue is during the fall season on Route 33 from my work (Honda plant in Marysville) to Dublin where its not lighted and too many deer accidents happen at night. As I work until 1am, the best I can hope for is to ride behind a small group of cars for more illumination and shielding. Having said that, this week has been improving and I can't wait for Friday...
  7. Welcome, Sid! I'm reasonably close to you (Sawmill & 270), let me know when/where.
  8. I got just over 6,000 on my original Qualifiers during the ride to Mohawk Dam with LeNko and the rainy ride home November 29th. Alarmingly slick in the rain at that point! I was able to get the new Q2s installed mid December, $290 (included shipping) and have only put about 150 miles on them this week. As I have nothing else to compare them to, I can't exactly offer an opinion, but I have no complaints yet.

    Cops on 315

I can vouch for the northern portion of 270 from the water towers to 315. Got pulled over by OSP heading south on 315. He was very professional, told me I was +10 and checked for obligatory endorsement and insurance. Bonus came in the form of no ticket, a "be careful" and a compliment for signaling a lane change with left arm when I wasn't sure the radio-changing teen saw me. He said to pass word along that a step up in checking for temps/endorsement AND insurance is in effect.
  10. Also sent PM for your route and info sheet.

    Bikes 2 NV

Wow, really? I had no idea. Just spilling out info. I'm curious about what they've done/not done to get the rep.

    Bikes 2 NV

I chanced upon this business (270 and East Broad Street, just North of Mt Carmel Hospital) and was given the fifty-cent tour. Lots of chrome work, both standard and "black", with a video on their site (www.bikes2nv.com about the hammer test. They also sell tires and various accessories. Al let me snap a few pics of a custom paint job, taken with iPhone so not sure about the focus. He told me they used to be in Whitehall but recently moved. Just a FYI...
  16. Once the celebration calms down from our winning, I'll repay you the $3 from my share! Thanks again for your effort during this.

    Awesome

Quite true! It was exercised a fair amount yesterday while I was cleaning the bike and the movie “Ronin” was on. Move the TV to the right location, and role played my way through the car chase scene. Cringed at the rider getting clipped, though…
  18. Regardless of outcome, thanks for your time getting the tickets!
