  2. ok now here is what happened :p

I've posted a craiglist ad for my bike

1998 250 red in color , i believe alot of you have seen the picture i've posted

it's almost mint , great tires , muzzy exahst black windsheild and only 4100 miles

anyway i made an Ad for 1900$ " just a test " and actually someone replied , saying that they are gonna come and check the bike today ...

what do you think ? should i sell it ? and if i did what can i get for 1900 ?

I love bikes and not gonna stay long without 1

    so advices requested plz

    Thanks

p.s i know it's up to me in the last position but as you guys are more experienced motorbikes owners i need your advices , thanks

If the guy shows up, I would make sure you have another bike lined up, sometimes we do things without thinking and regret our decision later, if you like the bike keep it,if you want to upgrade look for something first, you can find good ole 90's model 600cc sportbikes regularly on C/L for 1000 to 2000 some junk some excellent bikes, but don't sell it if you have a doubt. And be ware of C/L people they like to try and beat you down when they get there, IF THEY EVEN SHOW UP!!!!

  3. picture.php?albumid=128&pictureid=1448&thumb=1 picture.php?albumid=128&pictureid=1446&thumb=1 picture.php?albumid=128&pictureid=1447&thumb=1 I have a 1986 GSXR 1100 Hyper sport,BAD ASS,light weight 750 frame, with heavy weight 1100cc motor, my wife has been giving me a hard time about what I am doing with it, I have a ZX9 I ride with her she has a CBR, she doesn't understand why I love the GSXR,it's a classic, she thinks we could get something more practical for the family, like more dirt bikes, or toys for the boys. i think the GSXR is a GREAT bike night bike, or just a nice cruise bike. Any how, I have no Idea what it is worth, I have a CLEAN clear title, ACTUAL mileage is like 18,000, stated on title as actual. It makes a little clunk when starting it sometimes especially if the battery is weak, so it needs a starter, and the carbs are a little rough, need cleaned, still rides great and I have a set of flat slides for it if you are daring, everything on the bike is in great shape, and original, less the cheese grater exhaust, I haven't decided to sell it but would like some opinions about it, gettting rid of the wife is not a option, she makes the money, LOL......
  4. Can someone lead me in the direction of a GOOD MSC in the Cinci area, My wife is going to be taking her road test this summer to get her permanent endorsement, and I recomended her taking a class to sharpen her skills, riding around with me she just follows and I try to give her tips and advice, but I take riding for granted and there are a lot of second nature things expereinced riders do that beginners need to know about, like getting a flat at high speed, loosing brake pressure, manouvering around obstacles QUICKLY, and a lot more including road conditions and bike preperation. I just want her to be tought the do's and dont's from a professional, not someone like myself who tells her what I would do, not what is best for the beginner. Thanks ahead for any help!!!!picture.php?albumid=117&pictureid=1333&thumb=1

  5. Flatties are usually pretty much for WOT, they can be ridden on the street but it takes a lot of tuning. But in your case, that bike will LOVE them. I personally think the 86 GSXR was the pinnacle of Zuke. They are now tech challenged but for raw, explosive power and serving up death warrants there are precious few that topped the old ones. BE CAREFUL on that thing. And if you ever sell it, think of your old buddy Randy :)
thanks Randy I love my slab side, and I have only had it for a few months, it is kinda awkward to ride compared to my ZX9, BUT IT TURNS HEADS, and she will FLLLLLLLLLYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!LOL needs a little more rubber on the rear, breaks loose a lot.

Hope to see some of the Ohio Riders at Bike night at Quaker this summer, and if I do decide to sell it I will post it here FIRST for my fellow riders.I think I will put the Flat slides in her just for giggles, but haven't decided if I want to tackle the tuning aspect as you say.

  6. picture.php?albumid=117&pictureid=1320&thumb=1 Me and my cousin in Miami a couple months ago,for the Nascar race, 10am and drunk, cooking sausage and he is always the jokester, and NO THATS NOT MY PENIS!!LOL..Trailered my bike all the way there and the ride around homestead was awesome.
  7. id be ok with Nascar except for the fact that it has taken over speed channel entirely. every time i turn on that channel is nascar related.

give me some variation like speedvision! like that british dude who wore the aviator goggles and drove all the cool cars, or two wheel tuesdays, or anything BUT nascar.

NASCAR is taking over the world.

  8. I started all my bikes ( it sounded cool with all of them running at the same time ) I rode my quad up and down the street untill my neighbors called on me ?

    does that count ?

DAMN we have the same neighbors!!!Cops came Sunday AM, They told me the neighbors are reporting me to the Home owners association this year because last summer we raised hell every morning with our bikes, and the cops can't do anything as long as it's after 9am, I say "TOO FU&%#$ BAD" the cop said "have a good day, and ride early it might rain." I continued to run all 4 bikes and even started the quad and dirtbikes LOL, f-ing HOA can KMA!!!

  9. My wife and I went for a ride around Eastfork, to Beechmont and around 132 to 222. Perfect weather, and just a few wet spots, at bottom of hills or slanted streets, not much salt or debree, a few more pot holes on 125 I noticed, 222 was a good ride only a couple wet spots. My wife who usually is scared about wet streets, rode pretty hard for her first ride in a couple months, the cops were down low and we got to open em up a little, got the blood pumping and went home for a BJ. LOL Hope some one else had a good ride Sunday. Or atleast a good BJ.

  10. Pushing my limits in my 20's caused many downed situations worst was in a parking lot, coming out of a turn racing another bike, he came too far center and he slammed me, my foot peg broke his foot and I went over the bars, slid about 100 feet, the laces and tounges of my shoes were ground off, my shoulder was dislocated, palm of my hand ground off, back of my hand also,my eyeglasses shattered on impact into my face sheild, estimated at time of ejection, speed 65-70, just looked up from speedo reading 65+, remember every roll and tumble in slow motion, was back on a bike within 3 weeks. Haven't been down in years, being 40 I don't think I will bounce back that fast.

  11. twice, with four other people each time...the same fucking day..

long story, i posted a thread about it

i wasnt trying to keep up with anyone, me and chris were flying, dragging knee and toes in nky, i hit hit a smal patch of gravel, caught traction and highsided, wrecked again cause i was still spoooked from the first (yes, my bike survived going off a hill at 75/80 mph) lowsided, and skid into a mailbox....and then i rode the sumbitch to hooters, had some wings and went home

second onewouldnt have happened if the first one didnt.

life lesson to be learned: buy a srad becuase they are tanks, and slow down on the street

I remember you, me and my buddy were at Hooters when you guys came in, you told us the story and when we went out side your bike took a good lick but not as bad as we thought it would look,A bitch to ride I am sure, the foot peg was broke off??? But we had a great ride that day, and your double crash has stuck in our minds since, I love the ride to Hooters on the weekends.
