  1. Great, now I'm probably stuck riding with you two douche bags all summer again, due to all this wonderful banter. :p

I will ride with you, I don't care what bad habits you have!! I ride with my wife, not that I don't love it.:D;)But I can't wait to ride with some of the locals, who actually know their way home.

  2. I never thought in a million years I would be looking forward to 50 degrees, but being here this winter has shined new light into my life and, call me crazy, but I just might take a ride Sunday, if I get a mile up the road and realize it is not warm enough I will come back,at least I tried, but if I can ride a few miles it would be awesome. I am tired of dreaming I am riding and waking to 6" of snow and ice,:(

  3. Check out my profile there is a pic there in my albums of my 7 year old boy on the back of my old CBR,This year he coaxed me into getting him to the 100mph plus mark,{safely} he has his own XR50 and a quad and he has been riding with me for years, and my 17 year old boy started riding my CBR at age 14,he has had a XR250 since he was 14,and now I have a 2 year old girl who has a electric quad and progressing every day. But as long as my kids are geared up, and on the back of MY bike, {mom will not take the kids for rides} or on the front, depending on your bike and child, they are safe. I would never wheelie or stoppie, or do something wreckless with them on it, even though my boy will BEG me to do something especially when we leave foot ball practice, I know what could happen, he peeks around my shoulder and keeps track of every MPH I go, always wanting me to go faster, when he passed the 100 mark he was thrilled!! bragged for a couple days, and now when we ride he is cool and calm, he realized speed is fun but riding is awesome, and theres a place for everything.

  4. :)

I'm new and there may already be a thread, but I didn't see one, soooo here goes !! I should have bought a small house with a big garage, instead of a big house and small garage.

    5 streetbikes 2 quads and 3 dirtbikes ... all in a one car garage !! :D

I got 2 quads out at my property and gave 2 project bikes away ... Lets see who else is totaly out of controll here !!

  5. what bad have you heard, seemed like a good place to me when I went there.

There is terrain of all experience levels there.

When we first moved here and i was looking for places to ride every time Haspen came up some one had a story to tell about the DRUNKS, or people getting killed because of the buggies, and stuff being stolen in the middle of the night, and no regulations or security in the park.I am not saying there aren't good days, but I don't want to see what a bad day is there, I get WAY DEFENSIVE against idiots who don't have any respect for others, especially kids, and I would hate for my boys to see me BEAT THE LIVING HELL out of some idiot who came too close to a kid, your kids or mine. I want the kids to have good memories of our rides.:)

  6. its never to cold to ride, i saw a guy out today. id be riding if i had my bike with me :D

Not me, I wait until the 60's, my blood is too thin, but I would put my wife on the bike to get her to WORK if the need be, If the Pick up truck the Camery, or the Van was broke, you gotta get to work.

  7. NO WAY!! The burn, the ache, the pain, and when the sun sets it's more like SUICIDE, I get LOST too easily,LOL. I went for a ride when it was llike 50 and the wind just blasted every unprotected piece of skin, NO FUN AT ALL. I can't even dirt ride below 50, 60 if its wet, maybe 70 depends on what I am drinking a little whiskey:D and I guess 50 is fine.

  8. I am done working on the bikes now I like to have a few drinks, smoke a fatty, then sit on my bikes and make varoooooommmmm noises til I get tired. The kids are driving me crazy this winter, 5 days off is CRAZY, I will help plow roads, get these kids outta here!!!!!!!!LOL:D

  9. WE have only been to Big Rock, I heard a lot of Bad about Haspen, and I want the kids safe, Big Rock is the safest place I have ever rode, and they have electric hookups for camping, and a small cabin, wash down area, and they are really cool, if they are still open this year.

  10. Me being new here and all, last summer rode a lot on 275 around Cinci, first few days leaving my exit # 65 I think Amelia Beechmont going towards milford {North} and not 2 miles I see lights, pulls me over says he paced me at 115+, so he gave me a 115 ticket, went to court. A few weeks later going South from same exit towards KY, I cross the bridge with 3 other bikes, I was in the middle, bike in front of me changed to right lane, running out of room I throttled up almost split cars, looked up there he was sitting on the other side of the bridge, I grabbed all the brake I could, and as the 2 riders in front of me passed him he pulled out, the rider behind me passed me and the KY cop got behind me, I thought improper lane change, NOPE 98 in a 65, back to court in Kentucky this time. A couple days later my buddy and I left a poolhall,{Half cocked} went 2 blocks to his storage unit, decided to white smoke em, his RC 51 and me on my CBR,{behind the building} not 3 minutes later Union TWP, show up, gave us the riot act, I never took off my helmet, and they kept asking you had any drinks, we kept saying NO. i got a chance to leave and NEVER looked back sorry Jack, Jack had to stay there and get a ride home,or get DUI I have stayed off the throttle around here.

  11. My ZX9 needs one sometimes when I let my hands rest after the twisties, or long streightaways,as I pull my hands off the bars, the deceleration causes a whobble, not a tank slap or anything violent,it is controllable but wakes me up.I would install one but I don't keep my bikes very long before I get something different, the 86 GSXR 1100 has one, and we all know those old sportbikes needed it. Now the CBR 600 NEVER had a problem.
