  2. Awesome!! thanks guys. I don't think my body is going to allow me to ride until we hit the mid 60s or maye the 70s, but I am going to keep the ZX ready to run, the rest of the bikes I will take some advice run some Stabil through them and top off the fluids, take out the batteries, and I will put some kind of heat in the garage at night to protect the dirt bikes. Thanks again

  3. Do you guys upnorth Winterize your bikes for winter? Or do you just run it every so often? Either way being from Florida we have never worried about this stuff, but I have a lot of bikes and this winter I have been starting them almost every weekend. What is best way to keep your fuel system, battery, ect from damage while sitting for 3-4 months. I have NEVER not ridden, as long as I had a bike. This winter crap sucks, but it sure is pretty.

  4. BIG Thanks to everyone, my wife and I would be honored if we had the opportunity to meet and ride with some of the local riders, this site has really impressed me with the hospitality and the politeness of the members, and if there is a upcoming ride that we could join in on we would be priveledged to ride with the members of this group, my personal e mail is on my profile and we look forward to meeting and riding with the Ohio Riders. {Just in case} stuckinfish@yahoo.com

  5. Being new here from Florida my wife and I are hoping to find a GOOD group to ride with this spring/summer, I rode with a few guys who met up at the Shell station on Sunday mornings, but I DO NOT want my wife riding like we did that day, and when she rides with me and my buddy, she is always trying to persuade us to go faster and faster, I make it a point to not ride hard when I am with her, and she doesn't like it, so if I can find a good group of riders her and I can ride with, maybe she will learn to enjoy the ride instead of getting herself killed, she has a CBR 600, but hasn't learned to respect it yet, she thinks she is on her dirt bike sometimes, and until she feels the burn of pavement, as most of us have I am afraid she won't have respect until she gets real seat time.

  6. I am new here to bro, I just sold a Katana 600, my wife rode it until she dropped it at bike night, well she was stopped, stand wasn't all the way up,LOL.Anyhow she didn't want the bike anymore so I got her a CBR 600, she likes it MUCH better.

  7. We are from St.Pete and the saturday night sportbike scene is OFF THE HOOK!!!!!!! Courtney Campbell causeway and Gandy Bridge are the HOT spots and have been since the Harley riders started it back in the 70,s, You will see 2-300 bikes at any given time either playing around in the lots or drag racing across the bridge.Dirt bike riding is getting more accessable, for Moto X, but trail riding is getting harder to get to, they won't stop building shit, thats why we came here, way too congested, and my wife makes more money here.

  8. My wife works as a R/N at Brown county hosp, she left at 5am to be there at 7 and she made it OK. Some people can't take off NO MATTER WHAT!!!Thanks to all that keep us going on these dreary days.

  9. I am new here only a couple years from St.Pete Florida, I have 2 boys 8 and 16 soon to be 17 and 9 and a little girl 2. My passion for riding has trickled down the generation ladder and BIT my boys hard, they took to it with confidence and determination, my oldest Evan learned on a dirt bike now has his XR 250R, he rode my CBR last summer and now shares a CBR with mom, who in fact has really came along way with her riding skills, dirt and street, leaning on the street bike was her paranoia, and grabbing a handful of front brake on her dirt bike, made great use of her protective gear, {priceless}. The younger boy Sabastian is still on the learning curve, but rides his XR50 and his Quad with confidence, and picks himself up a little embarrased but gets back on without shame. My little girl 2 Hailey has a little electric quad and she is progressing very well.My bikes a 1986 GSXR 1100 I keep just for cruising maybe bikenight, I just got it this summer, and my ZX9R wich I love VERY comfortable and agile. Me and my family are looking forward to riding the curveys, seeing the area, and meeting some of the local riders, be safe, ride smart, live long.
