Well since I got my Ar-15 as a early Christmas present that one is off my list. I still want optics for it, looking at the eotech 512. I also would like to pick up a bow or crossbow to extend my deer season. Would like a nice custom leather holster for my lc9, and a better owb one for my xd9sc. Also looking at some kind of field knife, something combat styled with a fixed blade maybe a sog seal pup or a k-bar. edit one more to the list a henry lever action in 17 hmr.

Since I have been thinking about a henry in 17hmr I say go with the henry.

Sorry Chris your dogs would most likely help feed two mouths not be two more mouths to feed. I am not gonna stick it out any longer in the city then I need to. Maybe a week at most then use the fuel I have to head south to the woods. Head into the hills and try to do my best to survive.

If I am gonna put a scope on it I might just put my nikon prostaff 2x7 on there.

I am not in the position to spend $1500 on a scope. For the razor or viper pst.

Thanks for the input. I am building this more of a 200 yard and under gun. I think the 2x magnifier it comes with will work for that.

So flat fish what your opinion of the vortex red dot sights you mentioned there scopes above but nothing about the dot sights? Thanks guys for the feedback.

Kawi you have a red dot or a magnified scope from them? Green any experience with the red dot I posted? I think I am going with a red dot with maybe a swing out magnifier behind it.

Im off the last week of the year. We are planning a range trip again sometime that week. I hope my ruger is back by then. You should try to make it there is gonna be lots of guns there you could try out.
