So to get somewhat back on topic. Where is this darby range? I live up north and have no outdoor ranges to shoot at close by. Is this somewhere close to c-bus? I would love to get my target mini out and try some 300 yrd shots.

I buy from a few local gun shops. they are not to bad on prices. $20 a box for .45acp, which aint the good stuff is my limit. 21 bucks for 50 rnds of pmc the other day. The next gun show up here is in Berea on the 21st, 22nd. I will be going to see what I can find in .45. Heck when I do find good deals online they are sold by the time I post them for others to look at.

Not big on the "g"locks but is the 26 or 27 model the compact model? might be better for carry?

If your a wulrus like me you dont need layers jbot. wish i had time to prep the bike but not gonna happen for a bit. next month when i get my taxes in and can do some shit to get my bike ready, it has been sitting for over a year now.

Just picked up some .45acp today first boxes I have seen in about 4 weeks in a chain store. Found it at dicks sporting goods. they had 6 boxes of .45 I only had enough for 2 boxes right now. they were out of most everything. They had some 9mm, 40cal. and the little bit of .45acp. no other hand gun rounds to be had? They were out of .308, and 7.62x39. Only had like 4 boxes of .223 and no buck shot or slugs in 12 or 20ga. Wallyworld by me has been out for months in .45 they once in awhile have a few boxes of 9 or 40. Yeah it getting bad out there.

Local shop Ihave been getting most of my stuff from charges $20-25. But by the time you pay shipping and the ffl half the time it is cheaper to buy it local.

Hey thanks Tom, I was joking but if the invite is there thanks! I have looked at the state ranges and the closest one to me is about a hour or two away. Looks like the grand river range is the closest to me. And thats down on the far side of Portage co. I am gonna try to get ahold of southern cuyahoga sportsman association they are private, but they have a range thats 20 mins from me.

Looking for somewhere to shoot my rifle outdoors? anyone here know of any public places to shoot, and dont say backyard unless its an invite to come shoot!LOL It sucks living near cleveland all the outdoor places are private.

Glock? oh you mean those guns that feel like i am grabbing a brick! yeah I seen them before..LOL! Not a big fan of the ergos on those guns. But they are going to go BANG everytime. I tried every one i think and none felt right in my hand. I am of the though that if it does not feel right I am not getting it. Dont think I should have to get use to the way a gun fits my hand. If all I am thinking of is how much i hate the grips everytime I am shooting it, I dont want it. let the shit fly my way!!LOL

I looked at those but I am a fat ass and would not wear that shirt by itself. So covering it up with a shirt on top would pretty much make it hard to get the gun out from under your armpit. Plus the moisture that would build up in the summer months will not be good for the gun. Plus I am left handed so that makes it harder to find what I am looking for.

So do you guys who carry use an iwb or owb holster? I have been looking for one for my mil pro, but dont know which type I want. I have been looking at the cross breed iwb supertuck, or one of the owb belt holsters? The supertuck is deep concealment type, but also alot harder to get to in a panic type situation.

I picked up my pt 145 mil pro, from B&T shooting. I got the stainless in .45acp for $379, out the door with a box of ammo was $403. They had it in blue for $10 bucks less. They have four stores up north mostly. Middleburg hts, is where I got mine, they have stores in Mentor, Lorian, Eaton twp, and Middleburg hts. I have the third gen with sight rails on it. Like it alot and will be picking up some corbon dpx solid copper hp for it as soon as i get back up to b&t.

Not bad for iron sights. You are lucky to have somewhere to shoot outside. you could be like us here in cleveland with no outdoor ranges, with in a hour and a half. I hope to get out with my target mini 14 somewhere this spring.
