looks like a nice combo. One thing to think about b4 you drop dime on leather pants is if you ever wanna do a track day. I'm pretty sure most tracks require a one piece suit. buying leather pants and a seperate suit can be expensive.. There are some nice padded jeans out there or just leg gaurds themselves you can wear under your normal clothes for much cheaper.

Sounds like your best option. I would go that route. then all your bases are covered. If he's not willing to do that then you know something fishy.

The red wheels/accents are one of my favorite parts of the bike. Thinking about getting the fairings repainted with the same color red to bring it all together. If you could find a solid black rear seat cowl i would definitely trade.
