How many whacks with a night stick does it take to bust out a window. Looked like the guy on the passenger side was swinging forever. -
Welcome. I am one of the random track day guys jbot mentioned and am in grove city. Need anything just ask.

Thanks for the link but I needed them same day. I was going over the trailer before an 800 mile trip and just happen to hear the growl. I was able to find them at o'rielly auto parts in stock. Paid 3 times as much wich sucks.

I know a few of u guys have these. I need new bearings. Anyone know the exact size? I picked up a set of 1-1/16 bearings from tractor supply company while at work because they looked similar in size. Going on a trip this weekend and planned on loading up the trailer tonight. Would suck to get all the way home and these are wrong. Theres no info on the harbor freight site as to bearing size.

That's like saying you already have a gps, cell phone, and laptop so why make a smart phone.

I am still interested to see how the xbox one performs as a media center. To me that is what puts it above the ps3. If it actually works like it did in that demo where u can wave or talk and switch from game to tv and have sports updates while playing I will be impressed and sold.

Ben also has a burger joint in Texas. Big fan. Been following him forever. Sad to see him go but was even more upset with his string of bad luck lately. -
Haven't looked in a while but last year Christmas time I bought my 15 year old and 13 yr old refurbished nooks for Christmas. There made by Barnes and nobles. They love them. Have never used them my self but paid your price limit for both on a site. Not sure if I can list it. A year later they are both working flawlessly.

I have never seen a timing chain break in any of the v6 engines, only the dohc 4cyl. What I have seen as jporter mentioned is broken cams and dropped valves. Last one I disassembled dropped a valve into the cylinder and u can imagine what happened after that. U may not be getting scammed but u are definitely dealing with an uneducated service advisor. If a timing chain let go in the car there would be no engine damage. U would line everything back up, put in a new chain and tensioner and go on about your way. Most of the time with these engines there is at least a rattle, clicking, or strange noise from the engine before they let go. As far as pricing for the used engine, including the 500 for the timing chain job and a 12/12 warranty for $2300 isn't that bad. I know the place we use for motors charges extra to warranty the engine. Just make sure the warranty covers parts and labor. Some only cover the engine itself not the labor rate to put it in. Also if u really plan on keeping the car check into a re manufactured engine. We have had some luck with the Jasper's that I have installed in the past. Just see the price difference. It may be worth it.

Ummmmm......I'm pretty sure all the v6 g6 engines are pushrods, cam in block.
-
I do engines all day everyday. Depending on the year, make, and model $2500 isn't that bad once u include all the fluids, gaskets and original tear down or in this case timing chain replacement.

I just finished moving last weekend......not fun.

Just listen to everyone in this thread that has a droid/google based phone. Daily hard resets, crashing, bricking worthless after 6 months update update update. Not everyone's experience but u hear it enough to make u worry. Yes apple may not be at the forefront when it comes to innovation but I'd rather be 6 months behind with a phone that works consistently than a worthless paperweight. Another thing to consider is accessories. Before the 5 there wasn't a gas station, Rest stop and even vending machines that sold accessories. Forget your charger, throw a rock and there's a store that sells them. One of the biggest benefits. That's a plus in my eyes to releasing a new phone once a year instead of what seems like every 6 weeks.

Nvm. Answered my own question.

Every time I've called a "professional" they recommend a new system that cost umpteen thousand dollars. Then I found grape that is a serious pro and has fixed me up each time instead of just saying replace it.

I haven't ridden the street in a few years and my old lady has a jacket and helmet from when we would ride 2 up. It's a scorpion black with red roses or some shit. I'll ask her if she wants to part with it.
