  1. No big deal. I'm already committed. Weather is looking favorable so far.
  2. I plan on doing intermediate on Saturday. Probably hang out that night as well to drink beer and grill some meat.
  3. Alright updated the thread. I signed up for intermediate on Saturday.
  4. Alright who's pulling the trigger? Which day is good? I could probably do either day. 70's this weekend .
  5. http://tracktactics.org/ I'll be watching weather as well.
  6. Tell me more. How did you get vested in corner work versus riding?
  7. Never attended their days but they are having a track day at BEAVER next weekend. Not a total definite but a strong possibility. Anyone interested? Rslocum (int and signed up for Saturday) R1 (Sat / int ????) Rvt- (Sat/ int ????) Jbot(Sat/ adv ?????) Trmn8tr(Sat adv????) Nick(corner whore) Blueballs(Sat adv????) Ktm(Sat adv????) Let me know when or who is definite and I'll update.
  8. You need to use a generator transfer switch. http://advanced.m.nextag.com/home-generator-transfer-switch/zzamzB1z0--search-html I put one in my house and it was pretty simple. They had a dvd with the kit. It took me longer to run 75ft of wire to a outside plug.
  9. I'm interested in this question as well. I only have 1 day on Q2's at barber and they got worn pretty good. I used them last year as well and maybe got 3-4 trackdays on the rear at most. The guy I bought my bike swore by the GP211's but i'm no where near race tires but if they have good longevity maybe using warmers and race tires may be worth it.
  10. :camping:I'll be there the 22nd. Snow or shine. http://www.ohioriders.net/images/smilies/07302010/camping.gif
  11. The only grid I'll be on is the back grid of the scooter series on my 600:p
  12. You guys go Friday I'll tow you around:D. I'll be kinda shaking some stuff out as well. Got to bed in some new brake pads etc.
  13. I might need it to keep up with you. I don't think I can do it with my little 600:).
  14. At the minimum I plan on doing Friday. Intermediate.
  15. Doubt I look graceful on either one.
  16. Not at all. Bike is actually within an inch of the dimensions of the 1000 but weighs 40lbs less.
  17. I was mocking you:D. There's a picture of mine in this thread. So really not a mystery. So what you get? I haven't heard.
  18. I hope to see you at more than 1 track day this year with your mystery machine:).
  19. Hopefully become a better rider not relying on the power to make up for areas I can improve in. Bike is 40lbs less and feels much more nimble than the 1000. It actually still pulls pretty good if I stay in the revs. Overall pleased with the purchase.
  20. Sure did and it ran great. http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/252/barberresize.jpg/
  21. A couple laps from Barber. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-IXptA297ak
  22. Finally got around to asking my agent about insurance(state farm). If it is not going to be registered on the street and just used for track/race they will not even insure it for fire and theft. Also your home owners/auto will not cover it in the event of fire or theft because as a vehicle it's its own entity. She did give me a couple numbers to local insurance groups who might cover it but haven't had a chance to follow up. At this point I might just take my chances instead of adding to the thousands of dollars I already pay out to insurance.
  23. Thanks for all the props. Come on summer
  24. Thanks guys looking forward to seeing everyone at the track. Had a question about insurance? I assume it's still possible to get some minimum insurance to protect against fire, theft, etc. even know it will never be registered for the street. What do you guys do with your track only bikes? Thanks.
