  1. Ah, the perfect use for our tax dollars. Love it!
  2. Say WHAT? I'm Christian and the only gun control I'm interested in is my own ability to hit what I am shooting at.
  3. Got a link? Where the heck is Hinds? Who the heck is Hinds? Where is Delaware?
  4. I wouldn't want to be a fly on the wall in a frat house. But definitely in a sorority house!
  5. jagr, you got it. 4daivi, I might never ever buy a Suomy, but their graphics are always quite interesting. I was just saying that Iron Pony has a wide selection, low price to high price. I have Arai and Shoei and HJC. Like the Arai the best...for me. Everyone is different. Kinda like what Scorpion has to offer...as well as others.

    I'm A Nut

I don't mind the rain too much. I don't mind the cold too much. It's the cold and rain together that give me the chills. Today was nothing, light mist, no sweat. If you're slipping and sliding...I'd wonder about your tires. I've ridden for hours in downpours and had no issues...knock on wood. Tires, tires, tires! That's the main ingredient to safe rain riding...in my opinion. Smooth throttle and clutch second. Some way to reduce fog on faceshield third...always a bitch. Pay extra-special attention to cagers, for some reason they can't drive worth a hoot in the rain, go figure. ALWAYS remember that most everything is slippery...manhole covers, paint stripes, tar snakes, expansion joints, etc. If I didn't ride in the rain, sleet, snow, heat, cold, etc., I would not get to ride as much as I like. Waiting for the "perfect weather" (especially in Ohio) really puts a limit on the number of available riding days. Just a thought...
  7. I went to Iron Pony earlier this evening, oddly there were not many bikes in the parking lot. Awesome place. Very helpful employees. The addition of the Yamaha dealer is a cool idea. It's 5 minutes from my place, which is nice...except that it is quite tempting to spend too much money. So far, I have been impressed with their shop peeps. They have a very full stock of gear. Helmets galore! Except Suomy. For those of you who don't know this place, put it on your list of places to ride to and check out. (They have a web site too, but you know, that's not as fun.)

  15. It seems like a pretty good cause to me. Over the years, I have tried to make charity runs when possible. Toys for Tots was big in Chicago when I lived there, cold though. brrr...

  17. Welcome! Dang, I missed a ride?!?!?!?
  18. I rode to work today, and once last week. Today was a great day to ride. Saw two other bikes parked at my office, one parked across the street, and one other on the ride home. Awesome! BTW: If any of you ride downtown Columbus, the free parking spots that were put in last year, will soon be by permit only. $50 a year.
  19. I put sand in my bars. Has worked. Reduced vibration, mirrors viewable at speed.
