If I didn't have stuff going on this weekend, I'd be all about an impromptu party. Next weekend?
  3. I just checked, and you do have to be either an active college student or a HS'er about to enter college. Age isn't a big deal as long as those qualifications are met.
  4. and all three of you can bite my shiny metal ass.
  5. CVG is hiring college/HS level summer interns for engineering/IT (you get to work with me!) and a limited number of general-purpose roles. We're looking for college-bound HS'ers or current college students. Now that the HR stuff is out of the way, for all you kids in college or about to get there, this is the easiest and most direct way to get your foot in the door and prove yourself. I can tell you that the engineering stuff is pretty hands on, they have a LOT of toys in the R&D department. If you're after IT (and to be the newbie to my Dr. Cox ) I can personally guarantee you will get more hands on experience in 4 months than you would in a year's worth of classes, as long as you are willing to learn. Application is here: http://www.binaryshower.com/2010_CVG_Intern.pdf. Fill out and email to jenna.commisa@cvgrp.com. Don't worry about putting me down, they have no idea who "Cheech" is anyway. Good luck!
  6. Unfortunately I have plans for Friday. I know much rocking out will ensue. Art, check your email sucka.
  7. I am not pleased.
  8. Dammit, I'm caging again. Bike's still not done, have a bad ballast.
  9. Blue Ice body filler, a little tube of hardener, some sandpaper, and a bit of OCD and I guarantee you your plastics will look brand new. I sanded mine down after gouging the shit out of one side at speed. Don't even bother painting and CF over it if you like, it will be infinitely cheaper than getting custom made all-CF panels.
  10. and above all else, make sure you work on your Iceman Chomp.
  11. He said he had me at 54 in a 45 on Center Ridge Rd, and I was praying for him to write me up for that so I can fight the crap out of it. Instead he said he was "doing me a favor" and wrote me for expired tags. I swear the guy drifted when he made that u-turn.
  12. Sadly, no. Think more New Rome-esque.
  13. You're literally right behind NY NY on the Strip. You'll have to walk around it if you want to get to Las Vegas Blvd. by foot.
  14. Seeing this was in Ridgeville, I'm surprised they didn't mobilize the entire force, Blues Brothers style. These guys seriously have nothing better to do. I had a cop who couldn't have been more than 22 pull a u-turn on Center Ridge Rd at speed just so he could give me a ticket for expired tags.
  15. It's an older hotel, but I don't think you should have any problems. Looking at maps.google, it looks like it's off-strip, so you should save a little coin there as well. If you don't want to take cabs all the time, be prepared for some serious walkin'. It may look like you're only 2000 feet from the Strip, but there's no easy way to get there. Since you're right across the highway from the In-n-Out, you should probably check that out as well, I'm told the burgers are crazy.
  16. I think I have an extra in my toolbox I can part with, as long as you like black.
  17. Just FYI, we aren't really the beer drinkin' crowd when we're on 2 wheels.
  18. OK, so I'll bite. According to the website I can return this baby, so what and where would you recommend? I really don't want to go above $230. Main function is for home defense, so small barrel is a major plus. I really don't need all the rails and mountings for sights. Pistol grip stock is a huge plus, I think the OEM stock is a little too long for my t-rex arms.
  19. $230, and probably not.
  20. Anyone know where I can find a pistol grip stock for a Stoeger P-350? In a moment of weakness I picked one up at Dick's this weekend.
  21. they're not on commission, but that doesn't mean they're not getting browbeat by their upstream managers for service and accessory sales.
  22. I love this idea so much I want to marry it and have little baby ideas.
