I love the nifty fifty! I haven't shot with the 100mm macro, but I have the 100mm f2 in my set. It creates nice bokeh as well. I agree, the IS probably wouldn't help me benefit from my shots as much, since my choice of subject are usually moving.

Originally, I had my eyes set on the 24-105 f4L. Then there was the huge debate of whether or not I would need the IS. I find myself photographing subject matter in low light condition, so I think the 24-70 f2.8L would be the way to go.

do you know how much it cost to rent it?

Yeah, I see a few here and there on POTN and DGrin. Yeah, it's definitely a pricey lens, but I need a reliable, generally purpose lens. Looks like I'll hafta get rid of my Tokina 11-16mm.

Sounds enticing, but I love the high ISO on the 50D. I hear it does well in low light situations - not saying that the 40D doesn't, but it's definitely my biggest concern since I do a lot of concerts and nightscape photog.

I'd like to go full frame, but I don't wanna give up the tokina 11-16mm since it's my favorite lens. So maybe the 40 or 50D. I wouldn't mind having a nikon, but I already invested in canon lenses. i own a mac and i can't tell you how many times adobe has crashed on me. i had to put a little post-it next to my screen that says 'command + S'

get a pc and save the rest of the money for a nice dslr. a lot of people assume (not saying you in particular) that getting into graphics, 3d, photo, editing you have to own a mac.

Here's another design. This is more of an inspirational shirt to get out there and ride. I kinda like the outline of ohio with the 'ohio-rider' logo going through it. Maybe the next one I'll place that logo on the front so it'll be directly over the heart.
