I heard back from the family on the cause of death. Sometime during the morning he slipped into a diabetic coma and never woke up. He didnt feel a thing. I'll let you guys know about funeral arrangements and such when I find out in case anyone is interested in attending.

I'll let you guys know details as soon as I hear them. The coroner has to notify first of kin and then they decide whether they want to release the cause of death to the general public. Goose had the flu most of this week and it was getting worse. Thursday his blood sugar was all over the place (diabetic), so we think it may have been one of the two or maybe even a one-two punch that killed him.

He was my best friend and a friend to many others. It doesnt feel real right now.

Couple of my friends went to some place in Xenia that was 85 for the course. Do a search for it.

I tracked a 2007 last year. I switched to a 08 this year. It is a completely different bike on the track. On the first day out I was 5 seconds a lap faster. Much easier to turn. The slipper clutch is awesome. I put a taylor made exhaust, power commander and ignition module on it and the power is awesome.

i have and theres not really a difference in the ride the 08 is lighter and has a couple extra ponies but you cant tell on the street biggest diff is the looks

It's taken some time, but the new Fireblades have grown on me. I still prefer the design of the 06-07 more.
