  1. JFC man....I simply tried to give an answer to the thread opener...not every situation listed,,(which seem to stray away from the answer only individual situations). You list as a Senior member on this site..if this is how a new member is treated let me the hell out...If this site is all about you then sorry..I wasnt informed..Logic tells me that if you want to talk about YOU or YOUR situation..Start a new thread...I dont believe I mentioned you or anyone else in my offer of assistance to the thread opening question...

Its your call in every situation...no deer were mentioned in the opener of this thread. Im not picking or whatever anyone but also wont take crap either.

I had hopes of only trying to help out and paint a picture to an answer...nothing else!!!

By the way...The safe riders course offered by Harley Davidson does instruct a hard stop in a turn..Check it out.

holy crap I thought u were lighting me up there for a minute... but I'm not a senior member. dude your answer was pretty much the best yet on this thread. don't get yourself worked up cause one guy rubs u the wrong way.

  2. k here's some more logic.. a cruiser's profile is roughly 2-4 feet if approached from the front and more like 6-8 feet if approached from the side, what are the odds of striking an object (deer) if approaching with a larger profile or a smaller one??

  3. shit that civilian killing level really made me feel horrible. i had to star over like three times cause i coundnt stop my self from shooting the russian gang members. then i just fired at the ceiling the next time. the level after that was kinda creepy too tho. i was like holy shit this looks like my neighbor hood thats getting shot up. hows every one doin in spec ops wrillo and i are up to charlie i think with with the exeption of a coupe missions (i keep blowing him up with the ac130 on accident.....) three stars all the way.

  4. Every situation is different and requires on the fly judgement and action. I've been in three near misses and all of them required a different responce to avoid collision. A school of thought is that there is no accident a motorcycle can't avoid given the following.

    1. control of the bike

    2. awareness of your suroundings on all sides at all times

    3. proper speed

    4. proper breaking

    5. proper maintance / setup of the bike to allow for peak performance and handeling

In the end though the best you can do is always be prepared for the worst and remember the minuite you let your guard down the unthinkable can occure. ;)

remember those rules especially when the meteor strikes while your riding or when ninjas attack from the pathfinder next to you...... your rules clearly dont apply to EVERY accident.....

  5. I haven't seen any proof that a little tire offers more drag than chrome does. You guys obviously don't understand surface area.

i hope that was sarcastic, the coefficient of friction between two hard, mostly smooth surfaces is almost nothing compared to the one between a malleable material like rubber. i don't care how small the surface area is, the front brake, when applied, will cause the front wheel to take on the weight properties of a large percentage of the entire bike.

In conclusion its physics, cruisers suck.
