  1. That was awfully nice of you to do that considering the baby bites and flips people off if it gets the chance to pass you.

True! It flipped me off more than once. But given the fall would most likely leave it unconscious I wouldn't have to worry about that.

    On another note:

Nick what happened? Your avatar is .. well... not quite as I remember you. Trying to get more people to show up on rides?

  2. my bad...

We're meeting at speedway on colerain ave (by rumpke) at 1130 and headin out to brookville/ medamorea area.

After riding we all may go back out to exit169 and camp at cottonwood/ white water canoe rental for a drunk fest.

Weather doesn't look to good at this point. How long do you guys typically ride?

  3. Where r u guys supposed to be heading out from? Have a group, that might be riding out that day also. Last couple of weeks we had groups of 12 (on 5-30), and 24 (on 5-23). This is a ride that is going to be taking place nearly every weekend (Weather permitting). Great group of people to ride with. This is mainly a cruiser ride. But, all types of bikes are welcome. Definiatly worth taking this trip with us at least once, to see how much fun we have!! Definitely a great time. I highly recommend trying to roll along with us on at least one of our rides. It is a wonderful time!!!

Columbus? That's kinda of far to ride ... to ride..

    Where do you guys meet?

  4. ...guys.....AND GIRLS...thank you very much....:D

I believe it is generally accepted within the English language to use the masculine form when referring to a group of both genders. Or so it used to be...

In any event you were indistinguishable from the "guys" when blasting the curves...LOL

  5. I hate medical bills! I'm still paying $7k from birth and foot surgery. I don't want anymore. That shit puts you in debt fast! I avoid healthcare at all costs!

I have Cigna insurance with my company and no way in hell I would only have to pay $100. It'd be $1k's.

Wow Nick - still paying on your birth.. how old are you?

Accidents and Insurance aside I had a pretty good time though it was extremely hot in my leathers. I was part of the group that got separated. I went on home before they re-grouped. Hopefully someone told you as I mentioned it to a couple of guys before we started back.

My skills are extremely lacking on the twisties. I was quite impressed with most of the guys.

If it wasn't for that damn baby giving me the finger every time it went by I might not have felt so bad at being near the end.

I enjoyed placing the faces with the names!

  6. You know, I wouldn't say he was a 'tool' for riding that way, just that he might have been inexperienced. I feel like I probably rode like that my first few group rides of my first season. Going to the track really helped me learn to choose a line and a comfortable speed. I'm still learning, so I'm not nearly as smooth and quick as I would like to be! I usually place myself right at mid-pack and move forward or back from there.

I just chaulk his mistake up to inexperience, though, and I guess reading stuff like this on a forum helps people to learn that it's better to ride at your own pace than to feel out of control, screaming up the straights and nervous in the corners.

I thought you brought up a really good point and thank you for the reminder!

This is why I usually like to know where we are going. If I feel I'm getting in over my head I just back off and figure you'll see me when you see me!!! In regards to a girl telling me... "cool". Hey I admire anyone that has the Balls ( sorry) to ride on a track. I prefer to be near the end of the pack so my slow rding doesn't hinder anyone and I don't have to think of how stupid I may look LOL. I know I'm not great.. just enjoy the ride.

  7. They'll stop at a gas station before or while we are all collecting they can go down the street to fill up.

I was just giving ya a hard time Jdawg. ;)

Since I will already have been riding for an hour I'll need to gas up. Don't know the area so you mentioned a gas station near the meeting place. Should I continue down 42 past ledbetter to see the gas station?

  8. Hmmmm.... I seem to recall the "queen" cheating on the "king" in 300. But she had a good reason...

Maybe she's trying to get re-inforcements...

Seriously.. I could write a book about my cheating ex-wife. However, in reality she did me a favor.. if she hadn't cheated on me I wouldn't have my beautiful daughter via my "current" wife ....light years ahead of my ex in every way imaginable...

You'll see the light..hang in there..

  9. Damn I just followed "little miami scenic bike trail" on the map on the first post and it goes from Springfield all the way down to Batavia in Cincinnati! Wow that's a LONG bike path!

I added you idodishez ;) Just show up, it's a good time meeting new riders and being part of a HUGE group that you NEVER see around Ohio much when it comes to sportbikes or hell Harley riders unless it's some charity event. It's pretty damn amazing seeing all these bikes together riding. I'm sure many people that see us have something to talk about during dinner because of us. "Damn, you wouldn't believe how many bikes I saw at once today!"

The bike trail goes all the way to Newtown....I blade it all the time..

  10. Are you sure you don't want another bike? ;)

i change my mind about selling it every hour. I'm afraid I wnt find something I like more than this bike. But it really does suck owning a twin bike of my husbands. Not so cute. And I'm REALLY tired of hearing him say his is better.

May handle better but generally agreed to be uglier ...
