I keep seeing this commercial on TV where Wanda Sychs keeps telling me not to refer to things as "gay" in a derogatory way. I find it ironic... because a group of people took a word that meant "light hearted and care free" to a former generation... and turned it into something that that generation would consider negative... and are now bitching because the current generation has again modified the term into something they consider derogatory. That is my new definition of the word "Irony." Haha.

Wind has gotten "my friend" twice. I had my old Ninja outside under a weather proof cover and that monster wind storm we had last fall blew it over. Then, last week I was riding to school and made a turn into a parking spot right as a huge gust of wind hit me. I didn't dump it... but I came damn close! Eeek.

To begin with, trust me... one day they will. When the Brits banned guns, they saw a 300% increase in firearms related homicide. Enough in fact, that they had to change their way of reporting crime. They also saw a drastic rise in violent crimes of all types, and are actually in the process of (or maybe already have) banning pointed knives. lol. If people want to kill people, they will do it regardless. Criminals after all, specialze in doing things that are against the law.

I was all hot and bothered over a Kahr .40 until I rented one at the gun range. Every time I pulled the trigger it droped the mag. I tried switching hands, switching grips, letting someone else try it etc but no matter what I did (or anyone else did) she kept dumping the mag. They are probably great, but it left a bad taste in my mouth considering I have put thousands of rounds through my glocks without changing a part. After this experience, I decided to go for a glock 27 to carry. Any stick is better than no stick in a fight though. I'm all for more armed citizens.
