  1. Smalls started her Braces journey just before turning 9. She had an Expander in for 4-6 weeks. Only expanded it for the first half. She NEVER had an issue or complained of it hurting.

While still in, she got the Brackets on. Once out, the first wires went on, then chains a few months later.

Here we are, a year later, no braces, and her teeth look AMAZING compared to the before pics! She does wear a retainer at night. There was no drama, no issues and no complications. Even she said she would do it again seeing the differences in smiles.

PS - If you can't trust your Doctor, get a new one!

  2. I let them go for $600.

Asked the place I sold them to, what he will resell for. The mint one he said will be sent out to be graded, and resold for $1,200 and the one with the slight plastic tear, $400-500.

He said it will take awhile to sell though, and is more interested in using it to promote his store...

Good for him, I don't need the money and it was 100% free. My GF is a teacher, and they have to pay for certain supplies out of pocket. Going to just give it to her.

    Thanks for the input humans

  3. I am in the same boat. I have got a few quotes from builders. I think I am going to custom build one with menards and order during the 11% rebate. 40x60 with 12 ft high walls 2 16x10 garage doors, one man door, 2 windows, 1' overhang on all sides is around 11k. Find some amish to install for 3k.

    Add in concrete and electric.

Not sure where he got the Kit, but my Dad just did this, including the Amish!

All said and done, he has ~ $20k in it. That included the building, poured concrete floor, insulation, interior walls, wiring and lights, and the Labor to have the building constructed.

  4. This weekend started our 10 year old Daughter's 3rd Season of firearms education. Joe has been her Instructor since day one, and we could not be happier! She started off on a Savage Rascal 22, progressed to a Ruger American Compact, and this year a Ruger 10/22 Compact upgraded w/ the Ruger BX-25 Trigger Group. Her American also sports a Nikon 3x9 for this Season as well After her class yesterday, Joe felt that a try at a handgun could be justified. Well, a Browning 1911-11 w/ Mini-Mags was a bit snappy, to say the least! Last Season, her final shot was a Cold Shot on a Zeroed in 308. That poor watermelon

Last Summer, my Mother-in-Law was wanting to get a bunch of her “lady friends” to go and shoot guns somewhere. Joe hooked them up with a day of education, and a bit of Tannerite to end the day. They had an absolutely amazing experience, and a new found appreciation of firearms.

I would not hesitate to TAKE (as I already have) or recommend ANY course that Joe would have to offer. Sure, his CCW Class might be more than is “required”, but you will get educated in what is NEEDED.

  5. I realize this is the holy grail of car guys, but with my Lincoln going under the knife to install full air-ride suspension, I'm realizing it would be awesome to have a lift to get side/under access a lot easier.

Anyone that has access - or knows where to get it - of a portable car lift that could PM me, I would greatly appreciate it.

Would you like to borrow 4 jack stands and a floor jack?
