This does not compute. Why would a matched set of race cams lose you HP? Unless what you're missing is that the revised exhaust cam is changing your mid-range power delivery? It makes no sense to grind both race cams and the exhaust side be detrimental to performance.

The same seems to happen with a lot of "corporate" forums. LS1GTO.com was an amazing site with tons of knowledge about the car, including a few Holden engineers. You could always find the right answer or someone could tell you. Then it got sold to a company. That combined with the fact that the GTO dropped into the price range of your typical 17 yo with the parents money and it culminated into a shitstorm of internet trolls and BS advertising. Brakes are from a C6 Vette. Engine and trans are in every LS based vehicle made by GM (Which is a lot). Any Holden specific parts are stored in a GM warehouse in Warren, MI. Parts availability in 30 days max. And if that doesn't work, Cleveland Pick-a-Part has enough parts to build multiple GTOs. Don't discount the car just because Pontiac isn't around. Likwid, driving mine wouldn't be a fair comparison with the extra power and upgraded clutch, but if you find one for sale around Columbus I highly suggest giving them a try. You might be surprised.
