I thought most of those changes between 08 and 09 were tuning related to get rid of vibration, harshness, and extra heat. If so, just tune the bike to 09 specs or give it a custom tune. Problem solved.

I'm getting the PCIII, the Serial to USB adapter, and the Power Commander software.
