Sure. You start with a Pontiac GTO. Then these parts get replaced: -Front bumper to VZ Monaro bumper -Badges on fender go away for Monaro Side Marker Lights -Rear GTO spoiler removed -Rear bumper lower insert goes from GTO emblazoned bumper to Monaro flat insert -The stock GTO tailights are the same as the VZ Monaro, but I switched to VX tails because I think they flow better -Rear badge from Pontiac arrowhead to Holden Lion -Remove GTO stitching from seats (future project) -Change steering wheel badge to Holden Lion -Change GTO plaque on dashboard to Monaro badge -Remove GTO from gauge face (future project) Basically it's still a work in progress. But it looks like this when done.

No, Australian spec GTO. The Holden Monaro/Pontiac GTO/Vauxhall Monaro Coupe are all the same car in underpinnings with different plastics/badges/other exterior accents. The G8/Commodore/VXR8 was the new platform that replaced the Monaro and comes in 4 door/wagon/ute form.

I know a couple of you at one point asked for some pics of the Monaro conversion. So here they are. These were from March so it didn't have the side markers, exhaust tips, etc. I don't have any recent pics. Whatcha' think?
  4. CTS-V has already proven it's faster than the M5. BMW sent an M5 with one of their F1 drivers to compete against the CTS-V with Jan Mugnussen on a neutral track. Each session, the BMW got faster and the CTS-V was still ahead. The V is NOT to be fucked with. I got to flog one a few months back. Flew down some on-ramps and the highway at uber illegal speeds. Let's just say it's 65-1xx accel figures are impressive.
  5. I've got an LS1 GTO with a set of Hawk Blue track pads that no one will know about. But, alas, not a 4 door.
  6. Yeah, I'm at school in Flint, MI. Her house is 30 minutes south of me.
  7. Dunno man, never ridden it. I could go down to her house and ride it around to give you a good review. But it'd have to wait till at least this weekend.
  8. She wanted to ride, it was her boss's bike. She bought it, and either chickened out on riding or realized she couldn't afford everything to ride every year (things are tight everywhere since GM laid off all of their co-ops). So, she just wants rid of it.
  9. Oh, and then there's this. Much mo' better in my opinion.
  10. Understandable, but satellite triangulation is still better than a sensor reading wheel speed.
  11. Yes. But cars aren't as bad as bikes. My GTO is GPS verified at 3 mph faster indicated at 155 mph. So it shows 158 on the clocks.
  12. GT-R was stopping at 320. That's 198.xxx mph.
  13. Lol, I have reasons. None of which will be discussed on this board. Now, back to the bike. Thanks for passing the word on. I'm gonna get some pics of the scratches on the other side to post up as well.
  14. She's a roommate. And just a friend.
  15. Her dad's. He's a big GM guy.
  16. I've got a friend in Howell, MI (just north of Toledo by about 40 minutes) looking to sell her bike. I know it's in MI but I figured I'd throw it up here for anyone interested. 1990 Suzuki Katana 600 -23,774 miles -New battery, plugs, wires. -May need new rear tire. -Scratches on fairings but no cracks. Asking $1500 Contact is through me. Thanks
