  1. DoD Identifies Army Casualties

    The Department of Defense announced today the death of three soldiers who were supporting Operation Enduring Freedom. They died Sept. 24 in Omar Zai, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when enemy forces attacked their vehicle with an improvised explosive device. They were assigned to the 4th Battalion, 23rd Infantry Regiment, 5th Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division, Fort Lewis, Wash.

    Killed were:

    Sgt. Titus R. Reynolds, 23, of Columbus, Ohio;

    Sgt. Edward B. Smith, 30, of Homestead, Fla.; and

    Spc. Joseph V. White, 21, of Bellevue, Wash.

  3. I am a gambler, but I will prolly vote no on it this time. The way it is written, the only places that will EVER be allowed to have a casino built are Columbus, Cleveland, Toledo, and Cincinnati. To me, that is horseshit. Leaves SE Ohio out of the loop again.

    Just go to wheeling for your gambling needs. :D

    So, this is also going to hurt Vegas since there will be casinos closer to home? I guess there are many more facets to this than most of us think about.

    In theory it makes sense. Look at Henry Ford. He was doing great when it was just him. Now all the people buying cars are split between Ford, GM, Dodge, Kia, Honda, yada yada.

    If we just build a shit ton of casinos, maybe we could but vegas outta business.:rolleyes:

    This will be our third time escorting another Veterans Tribute Tower to its new location. I would like to thank the Community of Green Township for Honoring its Veterans. We are the official escort for all of the Tribute Towers that the Verdin Company makes for around the nation. This is such and Honor for the Patriot Guard, and I want to thank the Verdin Management and their team of dedicated employees for letting us be a part of the Tribute Tower escorts.

    The Tribute Tower will be erected upon our arrival at 1200 noon. This is a site to see if you have never been before. Please be at the staging area on time. It is critical that we arrive at 1200 noon.

    Ohio State Captain Bob Woods is assigned this mission. Please follow his instructions and remember to bring your 3x5 American Flags and if you can fly a American flag from your motorcycle please do so, just make sure it is secure and not in disrepair.
