  1. Haven't even picked the SCAR up yet and this is what I have sitting at the house for it..

    X-Products Billet Lower Receiver/XM110 (11oz)

    KDG M-LOK 6.5" Extended Rail

    KDG SAS ACR Stock

    KDG Charging Handle

    Geissele Super Scar

    PMM Modded BCM Mod-3 Grip

    PMM Selector Switch

    PMM Oversized Bolt Catch

    PMM 1.4mm SS Gas Jet

    ZeroBravo Handstop

    Optics:

    Short - Aimpoint H1 w/ LaRue QD

Long - Vortex Razor HD Gen II w/ LaRue QD

  2. I'm looking to use the micro on my AR, and will be using the Razor HD on the Scar. Until I suck it up and spend some big money and buy a better option for distance. I am looking to use the scar for 700-1000 yard stuff.
  3. I have read some people claim a 'fish bowl' view from the MRO, but the field of view is suppose to be more significant than the T1? I haven't heard anything negative about the T1, yet.
  4. I have used one before at work, it's subjective in how it compares to an AR10. I like it, the weight isn't bad and it's nice to have something with a little more stopping power in the safe.

This is my coming home gift, or well at least I'm selling it to my conscience that way :)

  5. With me coming home to be a broke college kid I have to sell one of my two cars. So this is for sale as well. I'm overseas so give me a few to get better pictures. Truck is available to be looked at any time with advance notice, located in Circleville.

    Year: 2007

    Make: Cadillac

    Model: Escalade

    Miles: 74,xxx

    Price: $24,000 obo

Fully loaded, power (and removable) third row seats, rear entertainment package, 22" factory wheels, heated/cooled front seats, heated steering wheel, heated rear captain seats, power rear door, GPS/DVD front screen.

Recent Maintenance: Brand new factory headers (one had a crack and we replaced both), new brakes all the way around, replaced emblems.

Additions: K&N Truck Intake, TB Spacer, Cadillac all weather mats, tinted windows, HID fogs.

Only issue I have with it is the paint around the windows are faded, which is a common escalade issue. I was quoted at VIC's to have it fixed, just have to get over there.

  6. So I ordered a Scar 17 from Vance's today. Trying to decide on an optic for it. I already have a Vortex Razor HD GenII I can swap on to it, but I was thinking of a micro red dot I can use on my AR as well. Anyone have any experience with the Trijicon MRO or Aimpoint T1/T2?

I also ordered for my scar the Kinetic Development extended rail, SAS ACR buttstock conversion, KDG Charging handle, PMM MOD 3 grip, PMM bolt catch, and Geissele Super Scar trigger. Should be fun to shoot :)

    Look like this soon.

  7. Looking for a late Rolex GMT Master II Batman. I would rather buy from a personal reference than eBay. I have checked out a few sites as well, really want one that includes original box and papers.

    Picture for reference.

  8. If you'd like to talk to someone about local prospects for new bartenders, a friend of mine owns the Columbus Bartending School, I'd be happy to give you her contact info, Mike.

I think she could give you the pros and cons of picking up the work part-time, whether you have an interest in getting formal training or not.

    Absolutely, thank you Doc.

  9. I'm going to look in to the bartending thing. I'm staying out of the bouncer thing, not worth putting myself on the line for zero benefits and $12/hr lol. And I'll pass Bob haha I've been to gun shows and having to deal with those folks for longer than the 30 minutes I'm in there is priceless.
  10. I am stepping back from my current position overseas to pursue further education. While I have school paid for, I need to acquire some sort of part time work to pay the day to day stuff. Does anyone know of anything remotely flexible that pays an honest wage? I need something I can work nights and weekends as I plan to be in school full time.

    Bullet points of my resume:

    10 years Mil.

    3 years PMC

    1 year gym TM

    Thanks for any info.

  11. I've booked everything myself for most of my travels. I use Kayak to search for hotels and airfare, and it has worked very well. I just started using amex travel though, so we will see what works best. I personally like to read peoples reviews of hotels before booking.
