  1. No, because below your name it says "FNG", aka "fucking new guy", aka "noob". And noobs don't post in other noob threads, it is an unwritten rule. So just a heads up. Oh and GTFO.
  2. Steve, how did your rep go negative? Did you join team output?
  3. Idk about the choke, I mean it seems to be working fine. I could be completely wrong though. As far as the idle adjustment screw, I suppose I'll just have to look harder for it. I'll try taking off the fairings. How would I go about cleaning out the carbs.
  4. Oook well the proplem is that when my bike gets fully warmed up it idles at like 5k. I'm going to go out on a limb here and assume that the idle on the carbs (I'm assuming there are two) need adjusted. I know on my old Camaro this was as simple as turning a screw, but being new to bikes...I honestly don't even know where the carbs are haha. Also I'm not sure if it could potentially be a throttle problem as well? Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Also if anyone in the Polaris area would be willing to come take a look at it this weekend, well I'll buy you a beer or something haha.

    Kroger

Do you know where the Polaris mall is? The Kroger is in the stip of stores directly on the opposite side of Polaris from the mall. And Thorne, I believe the Kroger gas station closes at 10, same for the one over off Worthington Galena. I'm not sure if that one has corn juice or not.

    Kroger

Yeeeeah, you know I really don't understand why they choose to meet at Kroger on Polaris of all places...whatever.
  7. Lol wut? O_o Just kidding man, that blows. Damn kids these days. What did they do, throw a rock?

Steve, you don't even know. You weren't even there for the good stuff. I might end up showing, I might even make my cousin drive so I can get hammered and show up so I won't be able to feel my bad ankle haha. Its always a good time though.
  9. Car looks amazing man, I love the combination of parts going on. It flows very nicely!
  10. Dream. Car. Seriously, I'm so jealous of you guys. You get to play with all these pretty toys all the time. Any video of the dyno?
  11. You're both wrong...R32 or BUST!!! Ok the secret ricer inside of me really likes the R34 more...oh well.
  12. Thanks for the welcomes everyone! And thanks Max Power, good looking out haha. I can't remember your name though...lol like I said, I was a weeee bit shook up at the time. I was pretty dazed. But yeah I'm hoping to sign up for the MSF course soon. I still need to pick up some gear (as you saw today). I called my dad today and told him about my little fall and he told me not to paint the bike, leave it as a battle scar haha. If he was a message board kinda guy I would tell him to get on here. Oh if anyone is up for a VERY noob friendly cruise this weekend, let me know. I'm planning on going to the spring game on Saturday, but other than that I don't have much going on. Hopefully I can get in the MSF before the end of the summer so I won't be restricted to just daytime riding.
  13. Omg...want. Saw this over on CR. I love this bike, the paint, the pipes, everything. If I ever buy a Harley I want it to at least be somewhat like this.
  14. Lol thanks guys. I can definitely see the lighter side in it. Especially consider how ridiculous I looked going down. The ninja roll was definitely sweet. And then I thought...well my mom is going to kill me when I get to work (we work for the same company). My manager told me I had to go tell her or he would. Sooo feel free to get a chuckle out of this.
  15. Hey everybody. My name is Ryan, I'm 21 years old and live in Westerville (right up by Polaris more specifically). I wanted to get into riding because my dad has been riding for pretty much his whole life. I can't wait to get into this more and get more experienced so I can go cruise with him. I'm also on CR, so I'm sure I know (well at least know of) some of you guys here. Over there I'm bigbird03specv. I don't have the Sentra any more, but to keep things consistant I'm just going to keep the Bigbird name lol. My bike is a 1986 Honda Interceptor. I picked it up right after my birthday in January for $1100, figured it would be the perfect starter bike...man am I thankful I didn't spend more on it, but more on that later lol. Here she is... Not a great picture, but she's not a whole lot to look at anyway. Nice little rattle-can paint job . Here's my "cage" (that's what you guys call em right?) It's a 1999 SS with a cat-back, and intake. Well I've heard about this site over on CR a time or two, and I finally got my temps for my bike, tags and all that jazz. So being that it's gorgeous out today, I gear up and head to work. Not even 20 feet from the exit of my complex...I go down haha. I let the clutch out too fast while trying to turn, and definitely wasn't leaning enough either. Soooo I bailed. I did a pretty nifty little roll if I do say so myself, and popped right back up on my feet to wave at the DOZENS of people stopped on Sancus watching me...I was more embarassed than anything, well now I'm pretty sore. Two guys in a work van of some sort pulled over to check if I was ok (even though I was pretty much ok, the thought was very nice!). One of the guys was asking me about my bike and everything and was really cool, definitely wasn't like "LOL SQUID!!!!". Well turns out he was from this here site and told me to join. I honestly cannot remember what his SN was...I was a little shaken up at the time to say the least. I think it started with "Big" though. So if you remember me, chime in! And thank you very much for checking on me! Alrighty, well there's my intro. Thanks for having me guys.
  16. Nah, they really are that sexy haha. Welcome to CR man. What kind of older Camaro do you want?
  17. Hahahaha I noticed this...and was PISSSSSED. Shes got some great knockers. This...literally made my penor retreat into my nutsack...I almost threw up. And I don't care what anyone says...these girls are fucking hot. They just make me want to do dirty semi-illegal things to them.
  18. Pdqgp...I REALLY wish I could +rep you some more.
  19. It was (and is) a horrible situation for all involved. But if I ever meet you man, I am buying you a beer. Congrats.
  20. The spirit of Kenny just assploded from your post haha. Yeah I was gonna ask if you ever drive around campus with your music up (even just a little loud), not trying to say you do, but I had a buddy in a similar situation. They knew his car had a lot of audio stuff in it cause he was always bumpin in the neighborhood. That's fucking shitty tho. I party right by your house quite a bit, I've even seen your car there. It definitely shouldn't take the police long to get ther. And I'll definitely reconsider parking my car there.
  21. What he said! Haha I love 3rd gens, they're definitely one of my all time favorite cars.
  22. Yeah man for sure, maybe you could give me some pointers. It was stupid as hell how I went down. I was pulling out of my neighborhood onto the main street and let out the clutch too fast and started going straight past the road into the gravel lol.
  23. A 1986 honda interceptor 500...laid it down on the way to work today going like 5 miles an hour hahahah I'm fine, kinda glad I did it actually. I got it right after my birthday in january tho.
  24. It is a good day, I got my permit, I'm waiting right now to get my plates, and hopefully I'll be riding to work today.

    Permit Test

Awesome, thanks for clearing that up. I hear it's fairly easy (and I'm reading the study book right now), so wish me luck!
