Only towing a open trailer with a 2100lb car. Trailer is 1800lb tandem axle with trailer brakes. Just trying to prevent excessive wear and tear on the truck and hopefully add some extra stability. I may buy lt tires when these wear out.

Anybody ever used a weight distributing hitch setup? I know a couple people that use them on bigger trailers and campers but the are also using straight axle trucks. Yes I know a real truck would be better for towing but this was a compromise and I have to make the best of it.

Looking to purchase a set of helper springs, preferably air bags for my 2011 Honda Pilot when I tow. I see firestone has a set that goes from 2005-2010 but says it's only for FWD. I don't need anything fancy with a compressor just good quality airbags and some hose to inflate. Thanks in advance!

I suspect I have a bad capacitor on the circuit board for my 2008 Acura tl's hands free link. I've done some research and seems like I just need to have a new capacitor soldered onto the board. Is there any place locally that could handle testing and replacement of the capacitor?

Lettuce discuss. How much power is simply too much power for a true daily driven, manual transmission street car? I drove my car for the first time in a while yesterday and was quite annoyed trying to keep it on a leash, not spin the tires at every stop light etc. I feel like I've done too much to the car to the point it's not enjoyable to drive. It makes a great race car but is a poor excuse for a streetable car. Edit: maybe not necessarily horsepower, maybe quarter mile et. How fast is too fast for a daily driver?

May go the eBay route, if anyone on here is interested I'm thinking 100$ obo.

Ww2 German Mauser bayonet. I received this from the estate of a woman that used to watch my siblings and I when I was younger. Her husband was in the service in the European theater but I'm not sure if it was a personal bring back or something he collected as he enjoyed militaria. He had passed away long before she started watching us .I do not know much other than it is a Mauser bayonet with SS markings on it. Not really sure what it is worth as most of the ones I have found online for sale do not have any type of personalization on them. I am also not been able to translate any of the writing on the blade as the characters are difficult to make out. My wife hates that thing and thinks it's creepy so I decided to get rid of it. Overall it is in fairly decent shape cosmetically, with the expected patina and paint wear and some discoloration of the metal as well as a couple of nicks in the blade. My passenger side hid bulb was out for a few days, and go figure after I order a bulb off amazon it starts working again. Are ballasts common issues in these? Car has 116k no aftermarket electrical accessories. Also I have a current draw that will drain the battery if left sitting for two days. I haven't diagnosed that yet. If anyone wants to share their Acura IN login that would be awesome so I can do the diagnosis.
